Best around

My son has his end of season soccer party here, and it was amazing how well the handled a bunch of four and five year old kids. Perfect food for kids (fluffer nutters, fruit, ice cream sundaes) and the waitresses were really sweet with each kid. Thanks so much for hosting us; I know we'll be back!
- Pros: Great staff, good food
- Cons: none
Love this place

My favorite place for happy hour, a beer with friends, date night with my wife, or brunch with the kids. Food is great pub fare, perfect selection of beer, and the wait staff is always friendly and fun. With Meehan's in Vinings, I have no need to find another bar b/c this one has it all.
- Pros: Beer, pub grub, staff
- Cons: I can't go every day!

Irish Drinking Song
by smyrnachick at Citysearch
I can't remember the lyrics to the Irish drinking song, but I do know the way to Meehan's in Vinings for a great drink. Always a fun crowd, good drinks. Food is great too. You will feel like you have visited a pub in the home country. Great place for an afternoon party - enjoy the outside tables.
$5 Martini Night and a Hot Bartender!
by hotelechopappa at Citysearch
The girls and I headed to Meehan's in Vinings on Tuesday nights for a girls night out. Little did we know, it was $5 martini night...apparently every Tuesday is martini night. The bartender, Rich was very nice! We had a great time! The Keylime Pie martini and the French martini are the best!
- Pros: Yummy martini's!
- Cons: I can't think of any!

Highly recommend the sliders. They have a very yummy sauce. Excellent!

- Cons: Parking can be tricky
The Real Thing
by lawrencevillemom at Citysearch
Heard from many in my group that it was like being at Mcsorleys in NYC, without having beer poured on you!
The staff was helpful, friendly, and even though they were busy....they kept the drinks coming. We will be back.
- Pros: great drinks, great atmosphere, great pub
This quaint pub brings the luck of the Irish to Vinings with great food and fine spirits.

In Short
Set in dim lighting and dark wood tones, this alehouse boasts all the character of a classic Irish pub. Mustard-colored faux-finished walls and apothecary-style shelving units give off just the right feel. Engraved lettering adds Celtic character to the large mahogany bar, and a cobblestone outdoor patio completes the charming atmosphere. In contrast to other Vinings bar scenes, you'll find a wide mix of relaxed couples and singles intently engaged in their own conversations. The bar serves up to 10 beer selections on tap and shelves an impressive 20 brands of Scottish and Irish single-malt whiskey. If the pub's stellar collection of Irish spirits doesn't win you over, the food will. Food choices range from pub-typical chili cheese fries to a refined Irish smoked salmon. Try the melts-in-your-mouth Guinness battered fish-and-chips, served hot off the fryer with fries and a tangy house-made tartar sauce.
