You get what you pay for???

by NancyMacMullan213

I love a good deal BUT when you sit in the movie and the atmosphere makes you feel like something is crawling over you or around you - I have to look at my priorities. Restrooms smell, theatre smells, floors and seats are dirty, screen has rip in it, why do the individual theatres smell? Mold? Health Dept. should be called.....!

  • Pros: price
  • Cons: dirty, smells, broken seats, restroom filthy

A REALLY Big Deal!

by Cheri30143

For the price you can't beat it! It does have a little funky smell but it isn't so bad that it is real offensive. You get use to it in a little while. The seats are comfortable and the refill on the popcorn is a really good deal. My kids and I try to go once a week and on Tuesday night all shows are .75! You can see them on the big screen for less than it cost to rent them,

  • Pros: Prices and the People
  • Cons: The smell isn't what it should be

Dollar Theater, C'mon - Dollar Theater

by gregtreadway

There is nothing better than going to the dollar theater and catch an afternoon flick. The dollar theater isn't quite a dollar anymore it can be as much as $3, but it is still a great bargain. The theater is clean and the people that work there are nice. Hurry, go now and catch a movie!

Best deal around!

by stevenspartyof5

I love this theater...tickets are cheap enough for us to still enjoy candy, popcorn and drinks. Perfect for a large family or anyone on a budget. Never too crowded, employees are always polite, and the movies are pretty new. In this economy, it's perfect for anyone who doesn't want to, or can't, pay an arm and a leg to go see a good movie. I would reccommend this theater to anyone interested in keeping within a budget. I can't wait to go again!

  • Pros: Friendly employees, terrific price
  • Cons: Bathrooms are not always clean, but no worse than at the high-priced theaters

This is by far the best deal in town!

by timetoeatcandy

This is the best thing since sliced bread! Before we discovered the Picture Show, it would easily cost us 50 dollars to take our family to a movie. I hope they are around for many years to come and I hope more Pictures Shows are opened. We have nothing but FANTASTIC things to say about this establishment!!

  • Pros: the price, the price, the price
  • Cons: can't think of one.

Cheap Fun

by badheatherno

The prices are normally 1.75 for a ticket, and 75 cents on Tuesday. Concession Stand costs are fairly inexpensive as well (at least compared to other theatres). They mostly screen second run films that are soon to be released on dvd, so if you are looking for the newest movies out, this may not be your bag, but for those of us who refuse to pay the obscene prices at the regular theatre, this is perfect.

Theatre condition is not great, but what do you expect when you are paying $1.75? The theatre is, however, clean.

  • Pros: Cheap
  • Cons: second run movies, seats not very comfortable

Go early.

by gajaybird

Saw Ironman on a Friday night. Had previously been there on a few Saturday nights.

You have to buy tickets at the concession counter. Not fast, when folks are buying tickets *and* drinks *and* tubs of popcorn *and* candy. Go early! Can't beat the ticket price, though. And the movie started after only ten minutes of previews, not the usual 20 minutes as in the high-priced theaters.

  • Pros: Price! Good view from almost any seat, if not too close.
  • Cons: Time in line.

Very Cheap

by mariettaman

Well, the last time I was there, I went to see Bee Movie(Very nice by the way). It was like 1 dollar, which left me to get some candy. The theater was clean, and pretty well sized. There was a little fuzzyness, but it's a pretty low budget theater. Afterwards, I went with my extra quarters to get some prizes. I only got a little cheesy lock I can break with my foot, a decoder, some other stuff that was cheap. They don't use the box outside for tickets. You have to go inside. Overall, it is a good place if you're bored or something.

  • Pros: Great Prices
  • Cons: Shows movies like a month after they release
