Midtown Nails
by wmfatlanta4 at Citysearch
This used to be the best nail salon in town. But now they are too crowded and the service and quality has dropped. Many of the best nail techs no longer work there. I am hoping for a turn around.
- Pros: Great Foot and Neck Massage
- Cons: Too Crowded

Massaging chairs and a great selection of magazines make for a great mani-pedi experience.
OUCH!
by rshershin at Citysearch
I used to love this place but the skill and service has gone down hill in the last year -- dramatically down hill. They seem to be more interested in turning chairs around than providing the customer with good service and skilled technicians. PLUS, to make matters worse I am now nursing a nail infection (albeit a minor one) from where they cut me too close. Sadly, this is the 2nd time I've had a nail infection there and I hadn't been there in 6 months because of the first one. I went back out of convenience hoping that my last experience was a fluke. Unfortunately I was wrong. It's sad... this really used to be a nice place.
- Cons: Poor skill, interested in speed instead of service
spa Mani/Pedi is best deal in town
by juliacbrown at Citysearch
I love my $28 spa mani/pedi at Midtown Nail. The last time I went in, I brought the Jessana nail polish that I received when I got a mani/pedi at the Canyon Ranch Day Spa at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Seriously, Midtown Nail did as good a job with my nails as Canyon Ranch did and it lasted twice as long ... for a fraction of the price!
- Pros: great value, great service
- Cons: sometimes you have to wait
I am a regular
by clarinuit at Citysearch
I always go in for a mani/pedi in one of their spa chairs, and I get great results and great value. The management tries to maintain a high standard of consistency and artistry in the large staff, making sure they all follow the same procedures for each service provided. Most always I get a very nice, tasteful looking American manicure that lasts 1-2 weeks depending on how much I abuse it, and the corresponding American pedicure will not need to be redone for 3-4 weeks. They are very careful, and they use sterilizers for equipment. The staff is usually pleasant and friendly, although some of them speak better english than others. It's always a relaxing break. They do a nice shoulder massage and massage lotion into arms, hands, legs, feet. They have an excellent drying table so you can leave there completely dry, without worrying about mussing your new polish.
- Pros: quality artistry, inexpensive, comfortable
- Cons: decor kind of boring
Poor skills & product
by texasgirl78 at Citysearch
I got a full set of solar nails (pink & white) here and was extremely disappointed. They turned yellow about an hour after I got home. The white tips were uneven and the tech. put the powder on too thick. It might have been the nail tech. that I was with, but still, I'm never going back. I soaked them off.
- Pros: convenience
- Cons: , poor skills, poor english
Great Value for Pedicures
by GingerMassey_Citysearch at Citysearch
This is the best value Ive found for a pedicure around town. It charges the same amount as other walk-in places (around $15), but they give pedicures that are close to if not equal to high-priced spa ones. The polish didnt even start to chip until two weeks had gone by. With this around, I'll never spend $40 at a spa.
- Pros: Great Value
- Cons: Stale Atmosphere
