The Wrost Gyros Plates We Ever Had

by mikeg113 at Citysearch

MY wife and I dined at the Stockbridge location on Highway 138 last night and ordered their gyros plates and we were "very disappointed" with them!!!! First of ALL: We had to pay $1.50 extras for Feta Cheese, Secondly; We really did not like the "fact" that our gyros' came out already made up and Thirdly; We hated that the tomatoes and onions were chopped up together and "were already" inside the pita; I do not eat onions!!!! A "REAL" Gyros Plate comes "open face" and has "a heaping portion" of gyro meat, "shredded onions", "sliced tomatoes", a pickle slice, "feta cheese", zakiki sauce, french fries, and pita bread that has been brushed with olive oil and "warmed' on the grill..

"NOT SO'; Here at the Broadway Diner where "everything" costs "EXTRA"!!!!

  • Cons: Over Rated, Over Priced and Everthing Cost Extra!!!!

Best Greek Salad I've tasted. Always fresh with an excellent dressing. , delicious chocolate cake, very good buy for dessert Very large selection- all very well done. Never a dissappointment

to guests. I Like everything I've ever tasted there, but always end up ordering the Greek Salad and Gyro. Gyro dressing is the best. Help is always courteous and willing to help. Very accommodating, even if you want something not on the menu. I will be very dissappointed should they ever close.

  • Pros: Friendly, good consistent food, always satisfied, delicious desserts, great values
  • Cons: Occassionally noisey due to crowd, too small a patio

The Best There Is!

by jawjagal1 at Citysearch

A non-alcoholic, family-oriented place with a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages to choose from. A great place to go in order to satisfy everyone in your family or party with whatever taste they might have at the time. Going here will not break your budget because everything is reasonably priced and the portions are oversized! It is rare that we don't leave with to-go boxes when we are done.

The servers are very good in seeing to the need(s) of the oldest to the youngest in your group. The patience, care, and conversation they show and offer can't be beat! They are consistently working to see that you are taken care of and enjoy your visit. Also, you can have the opportunity to meet the manager and his wife or even the owner, when available. They, too, want to make certain that your visit met your every expectation and that you will come again.

Everything from top to bottom is seen too, whether it be the floors, dishes, and tables or the restrooms. Every time we have gone things have been more often than not acceptable. If there was a time that it wasn't, it was handled immediately and raised our feelings about this restaurant all the more!

Depending on when you go, there might be a wait, but it will be worth it! The more the restaurant becomes known, the more often there will be a wait. Opened 24 hours a day 7 days a week, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner available the whole time.

We have come to count Broadway Diner as one of our all-time favorites for not only a family time out to eat, but also for fulfilling several of our needs when it comes to good eating as well. In other words, I call them up and ask them to prepare food for me all the time as take out for church functions, school functions, and even dinners and parties at home now!

If you haven't tried Broadway Diner, yet, then do so! It will soon be a favorite for your family or party as well. If you have tried them, then make your plans to go again soon!

  • Pros: ample parking, great service, clean, family-oriented
  • Cons: None that I can think of!

Great Food and Atmosphere

by usmcjarhead93 at Citysearch

What a great place to experience various foods!! The concept is great!! What a way to take an existing structure and make it into a local favorite!! I enjoy every visit! The portions are large and the price very appealing. The price is an attractive element. I have never had a bad experience here. The wait staff is great!! You see very little turnover in staff...that should tell you something. They are treated very well. The desserts are amazing and are a must try! They take pride in the cleanliness of the diner...it is impeccible. Great value...Great Food!

  • Pros: Great Value...Great Food!
  • Cons: Building is somewhat small...I know it's a diner

Nice Spot

by ash1980 at Citysearch

Just visited after being stongly reccomended by some people we met. We enjoyed it immensly, our service was excellant and the food was great. The selection and variety of food was really good and also the deserts were fantastic and big portions too ! Also very reasonably priced. We did however have one sour our experience which was encountering a drunk guy who was eating there and who was very rude and barged by and acted a fool, he seemed to know the manager who was there when this happened and should have done something regarding it, so shame on the manager for not kicking the guy out and letting him ruin what otherwise had been a wonderful experience. Otherwise apart from this, great place and we will return, we just hope the drunk guy was a one off and not a regular thing.

  • Pros: Great food, cheap, large portions
  • Cons: Drunk people who act a fool
