Barbeque works has, in my opinion, the greatest tasting food of all of the Underground restaurants. For it to be "fast food" it really tastes like it just came out of my mom's kitchen. The best part is that the prices are crazy low. I would actually be willing to pay more if they increased the prices. The food is just that gooooddd. But if you want to try it out, go before 11:30AM or after 1:30PM. The line at this place is crazy during lunchtime.

So when I was putzing around the underground I had to make a decision of where to eat. I wanted soul food, but where to go. There was the chicken something rather to the right, and barbecue works to the left. I started to walk up to the counter of the chicken place because I saw wings on the menu and that's what I wanted. Then as I looked to the left there was this enormous snaking line of people at Barbecue Works, many of whom did not look like tourists. So I waited in line and was rewarded with some of the best chicken wings I have ever tasted. They also had really tasty pulled pork. They also had sweet potatoes with marshmallows, spiced up perfectly. I'm taking folks here after shopping at the underground.
Pros: awesome food, friendly staff, big portions of sides.
Cons: It's a food court. Long lines
