Super

Dr. Isaacs is a super endocrinologist. I am a nurse and I know many endocrinologists. This is the first endocrinology practice that I felt like they cared about you as a person. Dr. Isaacs is very prompt getting the results with you, even if they are normal. He is very approachable and knowledgeable.

PCOS

I have PCOS, my previous endo was recommended by a friend but was not the most compassionate, essentially blaming my eating habits for all my problems. I saw a reproductive endo as well, but her approach was a band-aid fix with birth control pills (which made me gain a lot of weight). Eeek! I found Dr. Isaacs who is recommended in Jillian Michael’s book. Dr. Isaacs has helped so much…he did new tests and gave me different options for treatment. He doesn’t make me feel guilty and his overall attitude is so positive.

Unbelievable Physician

Dr. Isaacs has been my husband’s doctor for the past 11 years, and I cannot give him enough praise. He is a superb doctor and endocrinologist, whose ability for caring and kindness is unmatched. He took care of my husband in the hospital a couple of years ago, and he did great. Dr. Isaacs continued to call our house to check on my husband after he had been released from hospital. There are not many physicians in Atlanta around that would do that.

Agree with other reviewers

I can't really say it any better than the other reviewers. I find all those comments to be true. I had another Endocrinologist for two years and he never came close to treating my diabetes properly. I went to Dr. Isaacs and my diabetes was under control in 3 months! That's been almost a three years and I'm still doing great.

Lost weight and saved money!

I found the HMR program to be extremely effective. I had tried several other weight loss programs, but never had much success. HMR is definitely different. The program uses meal replacements, mostly shakes and boxed meals, but it is more than just food. You come to a class every week and you work with a health educator very closely. My health educator, Liz is a registered dietitian. She has been so helpful to me, we talk at least three times a week. Liz takes a real interest in my success. Dr. Isaacs has also been terrific. I lost 48 pounds in about 4 months and I am still losing. I found the program to be very affordable. The food costs about $80 every week, but I was spending much more before I started the program. My health is improved and I feel so much better.

Waste!

It's a shame I wasted so much time and money with this program. It was recommended to me by a friend, but my personal experience was very negative. I felt like I was weighed in and pushed around like cattle. The staff was friendly, but the HMR program is archaic.

Absolutely Amazing!

This is an absolutely amazing weight loss clinic: They have several programs to choose from. The staff really cares about your results and is so supportive, even if you fall off the wagon. I didn?t know weight loss could be so easy!

Awesome Endocrinologist

Dr. Isaacs is an awesome endocrinologist with top notch quality of care and expertise. He is very calming and reassuring. He takes time to listen to all my problems. He is also the former chief of staff at Northside Hospital.
