Great service demands a return, and I went back to make sure...

Chateau Elan is a lovely retreat that makes you feel isolated, yet still having everything at your fingertips. The Chateau and Woodlands courses are nice, and the Legends course, while maybe the weakest layout of the three, is in such pristine condition as to make you forget any inadaquacies. Try to pick out the holes suggested by Snead, Sarazen, or Kathy Whitworth that mimic famous holes, such as 12 or 13 at Augusta, or the Postage Stamp from Troon.

Side trips into the quaint towns of Braselton, Hoschton, and Winder are interesting, too. But the main attraction of amenities offered by the Resort, and the service rendered, make this an attractive location for business or pleasure.

Worth the Drive (and the money)

Best course in Georgia, the Legends course is absolutely outstanding. The greens are perfect, the course is challenging. I feel like a pro when I play here.

BEYOND COMPARE...

Chateau Elan Golf Course, SPA, Winery, and Hotel is beyond compare. An hour out of Atlanta and you feel as though you are vacationing in the South of France, except the people speak English and are much nicer. We love to get away for the mini-vacation and they seem to be turning into much more everytime we go. The Golf is excellent and all of the amenities set new standards for the area. Nothing can touch the pampering and care you are given in the Hotel and SPA. The restaurants continue to amaze us and the Winery Tour is better every time we take it. Try this JUST ONCE and you too ill see how relaxing and refreshing this excursion can be. WONDERFUL.
