Poor Service
by Gamgee at Citysearch
My new MINI had a little scratch on the hood. Hank Aaron Mini was supposed to send me a touch up kit in the mail... since I live almost 4 hours away. I never got it. I always get a voicemail when I call... and no one returns my calls. When I was purchasing my mini and they found out that I had less than perfect credit, I was treated like a peasant. They were all fine and fuzzy when they thought I was loaded with money. Really makes me sick.
- Cons: everything
TERRIBLE Customer Service
by tonija01 at Citysearch
The customer follow through/service experience with Mini of South Atlanta is TERRIBLE!
After I left them with my money, I was instantly forgotten. A few months after the purchase, one of my tires blew out and I called Mini Roadside Assistance to get towed to the nearest dealer. Imagine my surprise when they told me I was not the owner of my vehicle and so they could not tow my MINI. After speaking with the customer service person on the phone for several minutes I finally found out that the car had been registered in someone else's name prior to my having bought it. And although that purchase never went through, their name was still attached to my VIN number.
After spending nearly an hour on the phone with the representative, I was finally able to (through begging and stretching the truth) get in the queue to be towed, but by then, the dealership was closing until the next day AND the car rental agency on the dealer lot that would have been able to give me a loaner car was closed until Monday. AND there was snow coming the next day (for Atlanta this is a HUGE weather catastrophe).
After all this, I called Mini of South Atlanta to find out why my name wasn't attached to my car's VIN in the MINI system and also to get that corrected. But Amanda told me that she'd call me back the next day.Needless to say, I called her several times but got her voicemail. Never once a return phone call. A week later, I called back again and received another promise of a callback from her or her manager, but nothing came of that. The following day, I called back and asked for the manager directly. He tried to be nice however it quickly became obvious that he as didn't know how to handle the situation.
Even though this dealership is cheaper than the rest (in my experience buying parts), I'll quickly pay the extra money and go to another dealership to have better customer service.
- Pros: Airport Park and Ride
- Cons: Cheaper parts
Do Not Take Your Car Here or Buy A Car Here!!!!
by missy745 at Citysearch
We bought a brand new vehicle (Mini Cooper) here and as soon as the car was driven off the lot no one would return our calls. The air didn't work on the BRAND new car, and they took four days to fix it. While they had it, they wouldn't even call me back to let me know when it would be ready! I called several times over a few days and got no response. Now the air is broken again, and they got an attitude about it becuase I told them I was going out of town in a few days and I needed it fixed! The car only has a couple thousand miles on it so that is ridiculous. It took them 6 months to get my plates - I live in NY most of the time and NY requires front plates, but there was no place to put it on the car, so when I took it in they charged me to put the plate on!! The place itself it unkempt- the bathroom stalls were falling off the wall when I was last there and it was dirty. All in all, the service and attitudes of the service department and the sales were poor, and they could care less once they make the sale. I take my BMW that I also own to United BMW in Roswell and have an excellent experience, so in comparison Hank Aaron is AWFUL!
