Dr. Hsiao has delivered both of my babies at Northside Hospital. During my second pregnancy I developed this rare condition which caused me to lose hearing every 2 weeks (the ENT specialist said it's due to the fluid edema in my eardrum). Dr. Hsiao was very patient and took out a prescription pad and wrote everything down to communicate with me. A routine OB visit ended up being almost thirty minutes but Dr. Hsiao never rushed me or looked annoyed. He also scheduled my induction during the week I was able to hear so I wouldn't be deaf on the day of my delivery and not hear my baby cry for the first time. Thanks Dr. Hsiao and everyone at Alliance Ob/Gyn! I recommend them to everyone!!!

My husband has KP Insurance from his job and we are limited to see the doctors from the HMO. I recently had to go through a terrible experience with an early pregnancy complication. After 4 visits and numerous lab work and ultrasounds with the HMO doctors I still have no clue what's going on with my pregnancy. My sister told me to see Dr. Hsiao for a second opinion. I know my insurance limited who I can see but I was willing to pay anything just to know what's going on with my body. Dr. Hsiao did not disappoint at all... he took his time and talked me through what a blighted ovum is and personally performed an ultrasound and explained to me what happened to my pregnancy. He discussed the lab work I needed and the different options I have now while handing me tissue after tissue ( I was so embarassed that I lost it! I am sure I was crying for at least 15 minutes..). He never walked out of the room like he was too busy for me or rushed me out of the exam room and that meant a lot to me. That one visit with him was worth more than the four five visits I had with my HMO. To my surprise when I was checking out at the front desk I saw that Dr. Hsiao has given me a big discount on the visit since he knew I was paying out of pocket and is going through a difficult time. He has brought me hope and compassion in a difficult time and I am so grateful to have him care for me. I am switching insurance so when I am pregnant again I'll be able to see Dr. Hsiao from the very start!!!

I just had my first appointment few days ago with Dr. Bills. He seemed to be very nice although he speaks too fast... He did all the necessary work and give me all the recommendations for a healthy pregnancy, lets see how the other appointments will go... but for now, it's highly recommended

This is our first pregnancy and I was referred to Dr. Bills through another doctor. To date, though we have not yet had our baby, our experience has been outstanding. I cannot believe that our actual delivery will be any different. We have also seen Dr. Bashuk and Dr. Hsiao and can say that we would feel comfortable letting any of the 3 deliver our son. They seem to have a diverse set of personalities and it seems there is one to fit each patient they see. I have a very "detail oriented" personality and each doctor at this practice has taken all of my questions seriously and has never made me feel uncomfortable or silly about any one of my questions or concerns. When I have called the after hours line my call was returned promptly and the same with any emails that I have sent. I cannot say enough great things about these doctors. I tell everyone about them and if we have another child their office will be the first place we go.

Pros: Short wait time, Positive attitudes, I feel like they remember and know who I am each time they see me.

Cons: None that we can think of!

I had been a loyal patient for over 5 years. When I became pregnant with my first child I was confident in having Dr. Bills as my provider. Unfortunately my trust was misplaced. I ended up having an unnecessary c-section by his partner Dr. Hsiao. The office is very interventive with inductions and c-sections. I would advise anyone considering this office for their obstetric care to ask them what their c-section rate is and then do your research. The office now has 3 Doctors with little benefit to the patient. If you go into labor during the weekend none of the doctors at this practice will attend your birth. This practice is getting a "baby factory" feel, much like the hospital they deliver out of (Northside).

Dr.Hsiao is a amazing doctor. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor as I do with Dr.Hsiao. He did a fantasic job with delivering my son. I have a heart condition which not many have heard of and the day I went to his office and told him he said he knew of it which impressed me right away. Because of this condition we had decided that a c-section would be best since it was a high risk delivery. He took the time to call the hospital that diagnosed me which was in another state and he relaxed me by telling me he had read all the materials that they had sent him. The day of the c-section I woke up and felt amazing I had no worries and the only reason is because I knew Dr.Hsiao was going to do a great job. He joked around with me through out the whole c-section I didn't even know when he had started and it flew by so quickly. Anyhow to make a long story short he is the best and any future children I have will be delivered by him.

Pros: Everything was perfect!

Cons: Can't think of any one bad thing!

My friends and I all have extremetly positive experiences with the doctors in the practice. Dr. Hsiao did my C-Section and the Scar was barely visible!!! All my friends are very impressed. My friend Tara had a lapraroscopic hysterectomy at the end of July and she was able to go home the same day and ran the Peachtree Road race 6 days later (she never told Dr. Hsiao =). The staff is friendly and on the few occasions I spoke with Dr. Bills and Bashuk they have all been wonderful and helpful! I Recommend the practice to everyone I know.

Dr. Bashuk delivered all three of my children. I had to follow him down to Crawford Long for one of them, but now he is closer to Forseyth. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of me. My first born was an emergency cesarean section. Dr. Bashuk wasn't even my doctor then. But when little Brian's heartbeat went down, he came running because my regular doctor was at her office. I've never left him since.

Pros: Easy to talk to

Dr. Hsaio appears very young, but he seemed to know everything there was about my polycystic ovarian syndrome. I had been to numerous other doctors and all I got was birth control pills. Dr Hsaio explained insulin resistance and how I have to change my diet and use special medications. I've lost 40lbs.!!

For my first visit, Dr. Bills had me waiting in his office for over an hour. He offered a pathetic apology when he came in, looked frazzled and distracted. I went back for another appointment when I was having problems. Again, I waited for an abnormally long time. Dr. Bills said my problem was caused by generic birth control pills, and that they weren't working. He wrote me a prescription for the brand-name pill and said that he is indicating that generic is not acceptable. He said the insurance would not have a problem with it. Sure enough, insurance refused to pay. I called the insurance company and they told me that all I needed was to have my dr call them. When I said this to the very rude, very poorly-speaking office woman, she said the doctor was too busy to do anything like that for me. When I pleaded with her to ask him, she called back and said that Dr. Bills told me to go ahead and stay with the generic medicine. Either the office staff is lazy and unwilling to help or Dr. Bills doesn't care about the health of his patients. I think both is true. There are several other good OB/GYN's in Alpharetta. Go to one of them. I would not trust a baby to these people.
