The Manager is really not a nice person

by allaboutfood1234 at Citysearch

The experience at this resaurant was terrible. This is now the 2nd time we've received the same horrific experience. The first time the Manager argued that we ordered a meal that we did not and made us pay for it. The second time, we ordered a to-go and did not recieve everything in the order and when I got home to call he said that he would leave it outside the door.

The food is ok but the Manager is horrible.

Wow, just found out that Lin's has been here in this location for 10 years! and the restaurant is so clean, looks like brand new! I love the freshness of the food that was served to me. I will be back. BTW, I love the seafood hot and sour soup and sesame chicken that I ordered. Yummy

Second try, all good

by nickdouglas at Citysearch

We had Lin's 2 times last weeks after a friend recommended this place. Both time we order Mongolian beef and the Rice noodle dish on Special and Wonton soup. I would said the both time we enjoy it very much and the food come out from the kitchen Steaming Hot! This will be our Chinese Restaurant. Thanks Bill for refering us - Nick & Karen

Love Lin's since 2000

by loujen at Citysearch

Wow, its has been 9 years, and we've been eating at Lin's since they opened for business in early 2000. We never had a bad meal. Their food is always consistent and fresh. All my friends and family love it everytime I brought them there. We love the variety chooses on the menu from spicy, light, fried and steamed, we tried them all and love them all. Here's our favarite: Seafood Hot and sour soup, Sesame Chicken, Pan fried Noodle, Steamed Dumpling, Mongolian Triple delight, and Black Pepper Chicken, all yummy!

  • Pros: Extensive menu, fresh food, great service.
  • Cons: have to drive 12 miles to get there

Good service, bad chinese food!

by alphakrish at Citysearch

Tried them out for dinner tonight given the lady was craving for some good chinese food. The interior ambience is good. Ordered hot/sour soup & 2 entrees from their vegetables menu and requested a "medium spicy" preparation. The soup was cold but tasted ok. The sauce in the first entree (snow pea/mushroom) was very sweet & bland. Tasted bad :-( The second one tasted similar. We mentioned this to the manager on our way out and he asked us to request "un-sweet" version next time. That was quite amusing to hear given the menu does not mention anything about sweet. If you want good chinese food, this is not it.

  • Pros: Ambience, Service
  • Cons: Food

Great Food... Good Service... Freshest Chinese Food ive ever had!!!

by Charles55 at Citysearch

I work down the street from this place and I ve passed it numerous times coming from work... so i decided to go in and try it... the place is very clean nice designed/decorated... i was greeted as soon as i enetered and walked to a table... The servers were good and they quickly took my order... i received my soup in 2 or 3 minutes and 2 minutes following my soup, my entree' was on my table... i would say this place is great for lunch because they get you in and get you out quickly.... i had the kung pao chicken which was rather tasty and flavrful... everyone else's food around me looked very good and the presentation of the food was nice... I would recommend this place to any and everyone possible...

  • Pros: good food..
  • Cons: small restaurant

Some of the best Chinese food in Alpharetta

by Xeones at Citysearch

Very nice, clean and tastefully decorated restaurant. The food comes out fast and is better than any we have found in Alpharetta, including those that charge much more for their food.

  • Pros: Food, decor and service
  • Cons: None
