Good "Order by Number" place
by skigator93 at Citysearch
Food isn't extraordinary, but is a good value and gets the job done. Oder the "top shelf" margarita, it's a steal for a buck or so extra. Also, it is a mob scene Friday and Saturday nights (especially Friday). Great place to bring the family
The best Mexican food in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs

I have been going to this family owned and operated restaurant for more than 10 years and many of the wait staff have been there the entire time. The food is outstanding, thanks to quality ingredients and authentic recipes. The margaritas are very good also so be careful.
- Pros: quality products, friendly staff, clean, authentic recipes
- Cons: Very popular place, go early
Busy but not worth the wait or money.

My wife and I just moved to Georgia this past May and this was our first try at Mexican food in Georgia. We moved from Colorado and had two great authentic Mexican places we went to often. We were hoping that Los Rancheros would be our new Mexican food fix. We were let down. When we got to the restaurant it was very busy and the wait was about 20 minutes. We figured since it was so busy it had to be good, wrong we were. Once we were seated teh service was slow and took forever to get our drinks and to order. The atmosphere was not that great either. It was dark and run down. When our food arrived we were disapointed in the presentation, portion size and quality. The food tasted bland and was not very good at all. We really would have rather had Taco Bell. It seemed like everyone was enjoying their food. Our guess is that they haven't had good Mexican or Tex Mex before. We will not go back. Hopefully the next Mexican restaurant on our list will be much better.
- Pros: None

Just moved here and have been trying to find a great place to eat and found it at Los Rancheros! Service is quick and courteous, food is fantastic (really good salmon burritos). Also had a great variety type dish with steak strips and two chicken burritos (one green sauce and one mole). I
- Pros: Service, Food, Family atmosphere,
- Cons: A little difficult to see from the street.
# 7 is my favorite!

Los Rancheros is a fun, casual, neighborhood restaurant to enjoy mexican food that is craveable. I have been ordering the # 7 with cheese enchaladas since they have opened when I was a teenager. I have moved away since, but when I visit my family or friends in Dunwoody, I always plan to enjoy my # 7, and I reccomend this restaurant because of its casual atmosphere, yummy food I can't quite compare, and it's conveinent location.
- Pros: Location, food
The best Mexican I've ever tasted
by rkk at Citysearch
Los Rancheros is my favorite mexican restaurant. While I agree with the other opinion concerning the Friday night mob scene I disagree that the food is anything less than perfect! I grew up near "Los" (as we affectionately call it) and moved to Tucson, AZ about a year ago. I was assured that I would taste Mexican food here in Southern AZ like none I'd ever tasted before. And, after trying 5 or 6 of the most adored Mexican restaurants here in Tucson nothing comes close to Los. My favorite Los dish is the Nachos Supremos but it's not for everyone (super cheesy so the chips loose a lot of there crunch...at least in the carry out order of it). But, the quesidillas, rice, and many other menu items are also fantastic. I'd fly it across the country for dinner if I could!
- Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Food!
- Cons: None
