The Deal
Men with traditional tastes have been shopping at this small local chain since the 1960s. The clothing equivalent to comfort food, H. Stockton carries timeless styles and rich fabrics (don't come here looking for the latest runway trend). It's a specialty shop, so nothing comes cheap--but it all looks great for years.

The Goods
Reputable lines like Fairway & Green, Southwick, Norman Hilton, Tommy Bahama and H. Stockton's own. Everything--from suits and slacks to sweaters and golf shirts--is slightly conservative and entirely attractive. Need cuff links, belts, suspenders, shoes, ties and socks? They're all here, too. The accessories counter is a gold mine for Father's Day gifts: leather grooming kits, pewter cups, old-fashioned shaving sets and silver cuff link cases.
