We have been using Rose's for 11 years. Their workmanship is very high quality. The few times when we were not pleased with the alterations, Rose's made the changes we requested with no charge. If you find a shop that will hem pants for cheaper, by all means use them. Men's slacks are often designed for easy alterations and, if alterations for them are cheaper elsewhere, that shop may be able to do an acceptable job. If, however, you want a jacket (with or without lining), a skirt, dress or ladies' slacks altered, Rose's is the place to go. There have been several times that Rose's has altered nearly my entire wardrobe. The staff has also been helpful in pointing out when a particular fabric (silk) dictated different alterations than I had requested. Rose's is till the place to go for alterations.
