Professional, very clean shop, kind knowledgeable staff - they did my wedding dress raised the hem 2 feet with delicate bead work - fantastic job - the very best and the best price!

We have been using Rose's for 11 years. Their workmanship is very high quality. The few times when we were not pleased with the alterations, Rose's made the changes we requested with no charge. If you find a shop that will hem pants for cheaper, by all means use them. Men's slacks are often designed for easy alterations and, if alterations for them are cheaper elsewhere, that shop may be able to do an acceptable job. If, however, you want a jacket (with or without lining), a skirt, dress or ladies' slacks altered, Rose's is the place to go. There have been several times that Rose's has altered nearly my entire wardrobe. The staff has also been helpful in pointing out when a particular fabric (silk) dictated different alterations than I had requested. Rose's is till the place to go for alterations.

In a dispute over a $10 item, the male manager of the shop was arrogant and unreasonable. Even though my family has spent a considerable amount there over the years (largely as a matter of convenience, not for the workmanship or price) the manager told me, "We don't care" if I never came back. I won't.

My wedding dress needed the straps taken in, which i was worried about since there was so much beading. They did a great job on the straps, and also the hem and bustle. My gown was also ready in 10 days! The price was fair and probably less than the bridal shop, but still expensive. I would recommend them for the fast, excellent service though!

I read a good review off citysearch and decided to give them a try. Since it's far from midtown, I decided to give them a call. They said that alterating my pants would cost $16-$20. I went there and they very nicely told me that it would cost at minimum $30. Nothing had changed since my call. I wouldn't reccomend the

It is well worth the drive out of the way to visit Rose's Alterations. Jim and his skilled seamstresses managed to salvage a dress that another seamstress had hastily attempted to fix (and nearly ruined). Service is friendly and the turnaround time is amazing. Rose's also does reweaving, bridal alterations and can even work with leather. The woman who referred me had Rose's take a size Large leather coat and turn it into a Small. Thanks to Rose's I will never again think twice about buying clothes too large with the intention to have them altered.
