They have moved but still great 3473 Clairmont
by joendekalb at Citysearch
This place has moved but the people and food is still the same. And still open very late 3 AM on weekends or later.
Its now on a lot South of Plaza Fiesta and north of where Buford Highway and Clairmont Road intersect.
Its address is 3473 Clairmont Rd NE
It sits on a lot bounded on the east by Buford Highway, on the South by Skyland Rd. and on the West by Buford Highway.
It is in a converted Dairy Queen
- Pros: Open Late and Great Taco's Great people
Meant to Give 5 Stars
by qwerty9988 at Citysearch
I go here quite often for lunch and everything is really delicious. I meant to give 5 stars, I guess I ended up with the 'default' of 3 stars. If you are in a hurry, get something to go, it's at least as fast as McD's and about the same price.
- Pros: Fast service;
- Cons: A little small for a really large group

Best Authentic Mexican around. Think fresh, real and not the paint by numbers of every other Mexican place in town.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Fresh Taste
Colorful Chamblee taqueria is known for authentic Mexican street fare.

The Scene
Inauspiciously situated on Hospital Avenue, this colorful cinder-block taqueria is an extremely popular lunchtime destination. Inside is a small dining room and a counter that overlooks the fast-moving action in the kitchen. Women in high heels and mustachioed men in cowboy hats angle for spots near the window air conditioner and/or the best views of the TV soap operas.
The Food
Authentic tacos, tortas and burritos run the show at this fast-moving taqueria. Try the el pastor taco (pork that's marinated with citrus and red chiles) or an excellent torta milanesa (think country fried steak sandwich, with onion and avocado). Burritos here are also big winners, including one that's loaded with chorizo sausage, cheese, onions and peppers. Wash it all down with an agua tamarindo.

'Is Heads Above any Taqueria I have been able to find locally. A fine variety of vibrant Soft Tacos, Tortas and huge Especials served promptly fresh & hot from a spotless display kitchen by a very pleasant staff. Wonderful Ceviche on weekends only. I gotta have my fix every week or so. Wish ther were a couple more Los Rayas around town.
- Pros: Very Clean, Mui Bueno Tastes, Excellent Value
- Cons: Only one Location, Ceviche just Weekends, Nada Cervesa
