Aroma Therapy
by monte_22
All I can say is I went in thinking one thing, and came out thinking another. The aroma wrap is the ultimate is stress relief. I know I enjoyed getting to pick out my own scent of the four oils they let you pick from. Other places have a pre-set scent and you have to go with that one all the time. I even fell asleep at one point. This to me shows how relaxing the treatment is.
good experience
by ally18
I have visited the school on several occasions for both massages and facials and was extremely pleased with each visit. The staff was polite, the facilities pleasant, and the service was professional.
- Pros: price, location, good service
Guiltless pleasure: Skip the frills for a deeply soothing massage.

The Scene
The Atlanta School of Massage is a 30,000-square-foot educational facility first, massage and spa center second. You'll pay a shockingly low price for massages that don't leave a kink, and choosing a student therapist brings the price even lower. Because it's a school, the atmosphere more closely resembles a natural health-minded doctor's office than a pampering spa. You won't find a hint of pretension in the relaxed staff, which strives for friendliness.
The Services
The professional massages compete with any of the city's exclusive spas for spawning liquid muscle. Opting for the student service gets you a less private experience (albeit a much cheaper one), as an instructor may step into the room to offer occasional guidance and to evaluate. The spa sampler, seaweed body wrap and smoothing body polish all dip you into relaxation, even if that relaxation is at odds with the no-frills environment.
