By far the best bridal salon in the US, and I thought my dream was to get my dress in NY. It is true southern hospitality and I encourage EVERY bride in wherever you are to skip the cliche NY experience and go to bridals by lori.

They only choose the best dresses off of the runway for the season and it shows. You would think that buying a couture dress is out of your price range, but you may be suprised.

I found the dress I had always wanted and was able to change a few things to make it perfect because of thier relationship with the designers.

I was so so happy, but seeing my now husband at the end of the aisle completely breathless will always be the happiest moment of my life. I credit bridals by lori for that, thank you.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

I cannot put into words how unhappy and frustrated I am with my experience here. I have removed my review because I have been threatened to be sued for libel. A law suit would've not been worth my time with this company. No pun intended with the suit thing. It probably would've been a cheap suit knowing this company.

The consultants at Bridals by Lori are amazing. They truly care about their brides and finding the perfect dress. My mom and I looked at every bridal store in Atlanta and the consultants and gowns at Bridals by Lori are superior to all the rest. After changing my mind three times and going back and forth between dresses the ladies at Bridals by Lori were understanding and continued to help me on my search. After trying on almost every dress in Atlanta, I found the perfect dress at Bridals by Lori. Thanks to Robin, Cindy, and Kim I was able to find my dream dress. I would advise any bride to go to Bridals by Lori to find their gown.

Great experience, super nice consultant

I had a wonderful experience at Bridals by Lori looking for a dress in October 2008. My consultant was Flori, and she was super nice, not pushy or overbearing at all. She helped me to find a gorgeous dress that was very flattering on my figure and within my budget ($2000). I went to many bridal salons in Atlanta, and I received some of the best customer service from Bridals by Lori. Flori was very patient with me through the decision-making process when I went back several times because I had trouble choosing between two dresses. Highly recommended.

best experience, no drama and stress free

Its sad to see some of you have had a horrible experience. In my case I had the best time of my life selecting my wedding gown, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and tuxedo. In addition I also had a great experience in alterations. I did have a problem with one of bridesmaids, the dress was a little to tight, but come to find out, my lovely best friend had gained a little weight, which effected the fit of the dress. After taking measurements again we clearly saw it wasn't the stores fault. The best part is that they were so accommodating with the alterations, ordering extra fabric, and helping my bridesmaid fit in her dress. Sometimes we can't help what people are eating or their bad habits. I can see how hard it is for us girls to admit sometimes we have gained a little weight. My dress was an amazing Amsale in ivory and my bridesmaids also wore amazing long dresses by Amsale in navy. My mother wore a Badgley Mischka dress which looked like a million dollars on her. We also went very traditional, black and white, with the tux to keep everything supper classic with a modern twist. Thank you Bridals by Lori for the best experience, the best service, and for making my wedding day so special. I am so happy with the store. I will continue to recommend that all of my friends and family to come to you in the future. Also I'll make sure to visit your evening wear department the next time I have an event to go to. YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!!

Very disappointing

I would NEVER use this shop. I'm a bridesmaid. My friend chose this shop and I went in for measurements. They ordered a dress that was so tight it wouldn't zip. They admitted that my measurements were "only a half inch" smaller than the size they ordered...but claimed they usually got away with this with this style of dress. Well, guess what? After $50 alterations, the dress is STILL way too tight for comfort, as there wasn't enough fabric to make it fit properly, and they have denied ordering the incorrect size,. What they have repeatedly done is to try to convince me that it's "supposed to fit that way." This wedding is going to be an event to endure, and this shop can't own up to their lack of judgement in ordering. If I'm going to pay $400 for a dress, I expect it to fit. But...they claim that....like jeans from the dryer, the silk dress will stretch. Yeah... right.

I didn't really have a great experience at Bridals by Lori. The staff seemed annoyed that I didn't like any of their dresses. It wasn't personal. I felt more like a girl in the bridal masses. My top recommendations are Saks and Anne Barge.

a wonderful day --

I had the most wonderful experience at Bridals by Lori. From the moment I entered the store I felt welcome. I had no idea of what type of gown would look best on my figure and I was thrilled to find that they had many designer gowns for me to try in larger sizes. At other stores, I could not find anything nice to try on in over a size 8.

I tried gowns with my consultant Melissa for well over two hours and at no time felt pressured to buy. I decided to come back with my sister, and used their webcam for my other sister (who lives in Calif.) to help me with my decision. Melissa came in just for me to try on the gowns again ( I though that was so nice since she does not work everyday there). I was absolutely thrilled with the professionalism and expereince at Bridals by Lori. I will recommend them to anyone - I can't wait to go back and look for bridesmaid gowns!

I'm just sayin.....

Well, miss bride2be and lawladybug apparently work for BBL. It made me laugh out loud to see somone write it was the best bridal shop in the nation, hold on let me laugh out loud again ha, ha. You must have been busy traveling to all 50 states. I had a horrible experience too. Who would say "Oh I was sad for my wedding to be over cause I wouldn't get to go to BBL anymore", I mean really haha. That is what you would miss after your wedding was over!!!??? And as for you making the comment about letting one person rub you the wrong way about BBL, umm have you looked at other comments? One of you even said you could get a discount "if you played your cards right" I wasn't in Las Vegas gambling I was at a "fairytale place?" yeah right, lol. I was looking for a wedding gown not to play blackjack. No one should have to "play their cards right" at an "upscale?" bridal shop! good grief!

avoid at all costs...

i recently got engaged and i decided to look around for bridal gowns even though my wedding isnt for a while. i made an appointment at a few bridal salons in atlanta... bridals by lori was quite possibly the worst. they acted like they all hated their jobs and they were so uninterrested in helping me.... like seriously? and their stuff was way over priced... i found GORGEOUS gowns at a designer boutique and they were absolutely amazing...my consultant the gowns the expeirance.. just everything....... although bridals by lori dresses are okay... they were just over priced and the people were just really crappy... so i left and i hope they never contact me again!! because i found my dress!!

• Cons: they were terrible!!! and ugly dresses!!!
