I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk associate. I informed her that I only wanted to browse, not try on, not purchase. After returning the information card to her, I proceeded to lift the chain leading to the dress area. *cue music of doom* She glared at me like I was a toddler with my hand in the candy jar and told me to hold on and that a consultant would be with me momentarily. I politely told her that I did not need a consultant to "help" me browse. She responded that a consultant would be happy to give me a tour. What part of "browse" she could not understand, or rather, refused to acknowledge, was beyond me. I pointed out that first I need to see if the dresses are even my style and taste before proceeding with store "procedure", trying to avoid wasting my time and theirs. With a restrained smirk, she let me through the chained area. It only took five minutes to browse all selections. Not my style of gowns whatsoever. I'm so glad I looked before I leaped because that saved me a lot of time. I walked right out of there. Won't be back, either.

Absolutely Wonderful Bridal Store

I had been searching everywhere for this particular Maggie Sottero gown. I had come across the store on the Maggie Sottero website and saw that they were having a trunk show. I had no problem setting my appointment and despite the crowd that was in yesterday, it took us no time to start browsing dresses. The prices were exactly what I was looking for and the associate we worked with was absolutely wonderful. She put my mother and I at ease the minute we walked in. She helped me find the exact dress I was looking for and the price we paid for everything was absolutely unbelievable! The dress is gorgeous and I can't wait for it to come in. I have recommended this store to all my friends and I hope to return in a few weeks to purchase bridesmaid dresses. I couldn't be happier!

DEPENDS ON THE SALES ASSOCIATE

I am flabbergasted by the mixed reviews here. Obviously some people had horrible associates who helped them, but my friend who is also a bride, and I went and had an awesome experience. The dresses are beautiful, the selection is great, and our associate Joan was extremely friendly and HELPFUL. I feel depending on your personality the associates at Bride Beautiful may come off as pushy. But I prefer people who give me their opinions and Joan certainly did with experience and knowledge to back it up. She figured out what style I would like and brought me more, I was able to try on as many as I liked and have as many in the dressing room as I liked (if there were too many she must have removed them on her own to follow policy, but only the ones I didn't like). My friend and I were able to share a dressing room, so I don't know why the other reviews say others weren't allowed in the dressing room. All in all I LOVED Joan, so I can only conclude that your experience must depend on who your associate is.

I have one dress I'm obsessed with and have an appointment to go back and make a final decision. I was told I may be able to negotiate the price down so I'm hoping for the best.

Top Notch

My wedding dress is in and it's beautiful! I had a fantastic salesperson help my try on gowns. There was a wide selection and in my price range (under $1,000). I ordered my gown and it came in early! Piece of cake. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Not so great...

Went to order a bridesmaid dress...waited at counter for about 5 minutes while the 2 girls at cashier stand ignored me. One was on the phone, the other busy typing. The other 3 staff members rushing around but not sure what they were actually doing since their hands were empty. Finally got service, ordered dress, took forever while the cashier tried to type. The contract they gave me was full of typos which is absolutely maddening. This is a place of business, not a farm stand on a rural highway. The owner should invest in MS Word, it actually catches typos. Listen, a wedding is a special experience. Bridal salon sales staff can either enhance or diminish that experience. I was disappointed because I chose this salon over another in the area because of the reviews on here. The bridal gowns looked beautiful. What is up with the guarded off gown area? It's a teeny tiny space, not Vera Wang. Overall, would NOT recommend this salon.

A Fun Experience

First off, I'm a bride that is not comfortable in a dress and making big purchases. My sales rep, whose name escapes me (she used to work at another bridal salon, which will remain nameless, down in Sandy Springs) was unbelievable. I'm planning a wedding over 800 miles away and after having a very frustrated time shopping at the wedding site I returned to Atlanta and came here. She was so much fun and made it less stressful. After a few dresses she really tried and nailed my tastes. I think I tried on every dress with no real feeling but then she brought me a Maggie Sottero dress that they just got in. I was the first to try it on and I love so much of it. I can't say enough how much the entire staff including the owner helped me figure out what I really wanted. Without this step I wouldn't have decided on the dress i did. I did not get my dress from here b/c they didn't carry the line that I loved but I would recommend this place to anyone. Also I couldn't thank these people enough.

I am a mother of the bride and I was pleased with the staff and their excellent service. They provided us with my daughters gown, veil and shoes, my dress and her brides maids dresses. I was so very pleased with the selection offered at Bride Beautiful.

BEAUTIFUL STORE WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

MY FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED IN MAY OF 2008, AND WHEN WE BEGAN SHOPPING FOR HER BRIDAL GOWN WE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT BRIDE BEAUTIFUL. WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN, ALL THE BRIDAL GOWNS WERE ON BUSTFORMS DISPLAYED NICE AND NEATLY SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO RUMBLE THROUGH ANY BAGS. THEN WE WERE GREETED BY A LADY AT THE FRONT DESK, WHO ASKED US IF WE NEEDED ANY HELP. WE TOLD HER WE WERE JUST STARTING FOR HER BRIDAL GOWN. SHE BEGAN BY TELLING US A LITTLE BIT OF THIER STORE AND HOW THIER DRESSES WERE DISPLAYED. THEN SHE ASSIGNED US TO A WEDDING CONSULTANT WHO WAS GREAT. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO SHOP MORE.

VERY HELPFUL

I WAS A BRIDE A FEW YEARS AGO, NOW I AM A MAID OF HONOR IN MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING. WE CAME BACK TO BRIDE BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE WE HAD SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR MINE. THEN WHEN WE CAME BACK TO LOOK FOR HER BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES THE LADIES WERE WONDERFUL AND VERY HELPFUL WITH GETTING US THE RIGHT COLOR AND THEN THE RIGHT DRESS TO FIT HER THEME. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING THEM IN AND GETTING MY ALTERATIONS DONE. GLORIA DID MY WEDDING GOWN AND SHE WAS WONDERFUL!!

This salon is Amazing!

I looked EVERYWHERE for my wedding attire and Bride Beautiful is the BEST! When I walked in the first time, I was totally stressed from not being able to find the perfect dress. The receptionists were really nice and told me that everyone there would take great care of me. Then my consultant Njeri gave me a tour of the store and I could actually see the dresses because they were on manequins... GREAT IDEA! I wanted a mermaid style and we tried the five that I selected but I still had not found "the dress". Njeri was terrific at finding a couple of more dresses that I loved and the final dress was "THE ONE"! They even changed the neckline for me!

I am soooo glad that I found Bride Beautiful! I drove from Tennessee because I was not having luck anywhere (even at a couple of other salons in Atlanta) and it was well worth every mile. The staff was really helpful and friendly and my consultant was the best! I've recommended Bride Beautiful to everyone for an excellent wedding shopping experience.
