Elegant surrounding and good food!

Went to River Room for my birthday with my family and friends. Wanted to try a new restaurant and had read about this one. It was well worth the drive! The restaurant was comfortable and ambiance both inside and out were elegant. Everyone enjoyed their entrees but the standout was the Scallop with polenta. Outstanding. Beautiful plate honoring my birthday and delicious dessert to share. We would go back.
Pros: Ambience, food selection, quality of food and presentation.
Cons: Some of the entrees were better than others, service good but not over the top.
