Not really "custom"

H. Stockton has the reputation for custom suits, but that is not really true. they will fit you for a suit and then a standard suit is altered to fit you. My suit did not fit right and they were not helpful in getting it fixed. After wasting $1400, I have never been able to wear it.

I started shopping with Hamm Stockton, in the 1960's Downtown, when I was a kid with my dad. Times changed, Downtown changed, but H.Stockton's did not, just locations. Just the finest Hickey-Freedman suits, footwear, and even tuxedowear, with all the trimmings. Alot of the employess have been here for years, and know us regulars by name, but younger professionals, have found a personal place to shop also.

The Deal
Men with traditional tastes have been shopping at this small local chain since the 1960s. H. Stockton carries timeless styles and rich fabrics rather than the latest runway trend. It's a specialty shop, so nothing comes cheap, but it all looks great for years.

The Goods
These clothes appeal to the more conservative types. Suits, slacks, sweaters and golf shirts are well designed for an attractive, easy-going fit. The reputable lines include Fairway & Green, Southwick, Norman Hilton, Tommy Bahama and H. Stockton's own. The accessories counter, filled with leather grooming kits, pewter cups, old-fashioned shaving sets and silver cuff link cases, is a gold mine for Father's Day gifts. Extras like belts, suspenders, shoes, ties and socks are also scattered throughout the store.

Simply the finest men's shop in town. Excellent service and selection. You won't find the same things at the next store.

Best in Atlanta?

This store is exemplary. The sales staff is extremely knowledgable of their goods. Probably the closest thing to a J.Press or Andover Shop in the South. Come here when the trendiness of Brooks becomes tiresome.
