Cocky for no reason

The bartenders need to get over themselves. Ladies- all of the bartenders are either married or have girlfriends but they flirt and even give out their numbers for bigger tips.

The people in charge are super (white friendly) and do everthing they can to get all white patrons including putting up a banner that reads "Welcome country music fans". They are currently being sued for discrimination.

Imagine an Elite model agency and Happy Hour YEAH

In my opinion:

Imagine an Elite model agency with awesome drinks and a great atmosphere.... The Tavern at Phipps is the result. Famous for it's happy hour. The bartenders have honed their craft and could star in Cocktail and Kenny G type's performs nightly outside. The food is very good, mainly Louisiana/cajun inspired. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11am-11pm Fri-Sat 11am-12am Sun 11am-10pm

• Pros: The drop dead gorgeous servers
• Cons: Have to drive to Buckhead - wish they had one in Alpharetta

Good food, good drinks, Great Atmosphere

Everytime I go to atlanta I make sure I always stop by here. Located in the Mall next to Saks the Tavern at Phipps is a real treat. Hosting a very large white collar after work crowd the ideal time to snag a table is between 3-5 if you can get one on the patio. About 5 or so the live music on the patio starts and the people start flowing in.

The bartenders definitely are entertaining as they have almost mastered many bar tricks such as throwing a full pint of beer across the bar over someones head and catching it to serve to a patron or pouring a martini into a glass while balancing it on their own head.

The women who work there are beautiful and so are a lot of the women who go there to have some drinks. Being in the ritzy area of Atlanta, well worth the trip to see nice cars, good looking people and enjoy a cocktail out on the patio people watching.

• Pros: Good looking people, Entertaining Staff, Live Music, Patio
• Cons: Can be really crowded

Atlanta Meat Market

If you are single then this is the place to be. the food is ok but the crowd is filled with beautiful people. It doesn't matter what time of day you go there is always a group of people to gawk at.

Luncheon Fiasco

Pro: Our waitress Misty was knowledgeable and recommended the Thai salad which was very good.

Cons: I took an out of town friend to lunch. We were seated at the door going out to the patio. The door was broken and went clang, metal on metal, each time a server entered or exited. Clang, clang, clang. Then the wind blew tea from a tray all over my white linen pants and my guest's clothes. Welcome to Atlanta and Phipps. The manager came over, apologized and offered to pick up my dry cleaning, but that was the last we saw of him. As we prepared to leave, a waiter said he could move us to a better table, one without the wind and clanging door. Thanks, but we just finished. As we got our bill, I had expected an apology, the dry cleaning offer, something to make up for our disappointing luncheon. Nada. Of course, I could have caused a scene, complained loudly, asked for everything to be comped. I certainly had cause, but I didn't. Now, I won't go back for that apology and won't take any more guests!

Great Service

Our server was exception! He suggested the nachos, which were great! He didn't only satisfy our hungers, but our need to laugh and enjoy life. Thanks for the great experience. We'll definitely be back in the near future!

The Best In Buckhead

One of my favorite places to go throughout the week for a quick lunch or nice dinner and especially on the weekends! Great food, fun atmosphere inside or outside on the patio listening to music! I highly recommend the tavern chips as well as the shrimp po boys!! The service is top notch and it's a favorite place of mine to meet friends after work.

• Cons: Parking can be a little tough, but always room in the deck

Great Atmosphere!

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Hot-Lanta! The food is great, the service is awesome, and you can't ask for a better, fun, good southern atmosphere! I highly recommend this resteraunt to anyone!!
