I was shocked to see any bad reviews of Alfredo's on this site. The decor is a little old and musty, but that only adds to the character of this place. I was pleasantly surprised to find out there is more on Chesire Bridge Road than strip bars and sketchy auto repair joints. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be about 30 minutes. Once we cozied up to the bar, it wasn't an issue at all. The house wine is delicious and relatively inexpensive. When we sat down, we were immediately greeted by an outstanding staff. Our waiter was extremely attentive and polite. And those free antipastos???? Oh man.... don't even get me started. SO GOOD. We ordered the prosciutto e melone. If you have never been to Italy to try this delight - certainly give it a go at Alfredo's. Very refreshing! As for the main course - the lasagna was to die for and my eggplant parmesan was incredible. Overall, Alfredos is worth the wait, and worth the extra money you pay when compared to somewhere like Osteria 832 or Figo. This is authentic Italian and unbeatable service. It's a steal and I will definitely be back with family and friends to make them Alfredo's fans.
Pros: Great service, authentic eats, great wine list
Cons: Smaller restaurant = fewer tables = longer wait
