Best In Atlanta!
by niknik28
Where do I start! Iv'e been eating at Hong Kong Harbour for a number of years and I must say the food is great. Some of my favorites are tofu with curry and vegetables, shrimp with vegetables and salt and pepper squid of course. The dim sum is great on the weekends and the staff is friendly as well. One should not get turned off by the decor, the food makes up for it. I say take your friends, take your family or just go it alone! You won't be disappointed.
- Pros: fresh seafood and veggies, friendly staff
- Cons: decor could be a bit better
A Chinese Treat
by MartinBennett
Excellent service, interesting atmosphere, but the food epitomizes quality Chinese-American cuisine. I've yet to eat at a Chinese restaurant in Georgia whose food tasted better than Hong Kong Harbour.
- Pros: Money Saver, Food, Service, Social Restaurant, Located right off I-85
Best pepper steak in town, Excellent customer service
by redchill
Excellent customer service, I only waited 10 minutes tops for my order. I had Pepper Steak and the steak was tender and fresh. There were a lot of onions and green peppers that were also very fresh. The quality of the food was much better than your average chinese joint. The decor wasn't that up to date, but I will definitely go back especially with the late hours.
Finally a place where the food is served HOT not cold
by collectore
Great place for dim sum! If you are not Chinese like me, you may find a lot of Atlanta dim sum joints don't have many english speaking staff so finding out about the dishes may be next to impossible, BUT there is always someone at HKH who speaks well enough to describe it for you. Don't mind the decor, the food makes up for it. Also, unlike a lot of other places, there are good vegetarian dishes and most of the dishes are served HOT which is a big welcome. The clientele are widely diverse which is a great thing. And you can order off the menu during dim sum and the a la carte dishes do not deteriorate in quality. Great seafood!
- Pros: Food, price, diverse customers, I like the calm dark greenish decor some don't

This jewel of the Orient shines with seafood specialties.

The Scene
Don't let the seedy strip of Cheshire Bridge Road or the cheesy blue neon waterfall deter you from eating at Hong Kong Harbour. This place is a jewel. Asian families request Chinese menus and spin huge Lazy Susans at their circular tables to share communal plates of steaming seafood and vegetables. A tank in the back holds blissfully ignorant Maine lobsters.
The Food
Vegetables are consistently crisp and sauces distinctive, but seafood is the real draw. Gobs of tender shrimp, scallops, mussels and squid come in a seafood bean curd pot that will have you digging with anticipation. Dungeness crab and whole salt-and-pepper grilled sole, both house specials, also stand out. Rich garlic sauce, available with a variety of vegetables including eggplant, comes with whole roasted cloves. Try the soothing wintermelon soup or the ginger-infused pot stickers as an appetizer.
DIM SUM IS VERY GOOD
by OpsGod
If you like Dim Sum, put this restaurant on the list. Go around 11:15 a.m. for the best selection, but it will be fairly busy. This is, by far, one of the best dim sum restaurants in Atlanta. Don't let the looks of the place fool you. It is good. A family-run business (as evidenced by the teenagers that are obviously expected to work on the weekends, but definitely don't want to be there) that is pleasant, clean, and enjoyable.
- Pros: Dim Sum, Great Food, Good portions
- Cons: Tight parking
Midtown Asian Cuisine
by jamesanderson
The scene is your original Chinese, but the food and service is not typical. Everyone is smiling, and your food is quickly brought to the table. The last two times the total time elapsed was less than 15 minutes between ordering. The food is tasty, and I recomend to all my friends.
- Pros: Food, Service, Value
hidden treasure

Tasty seafood hot pots, fantastic dumplings and yummy Hong Kong noodles. It's not a Buford Highway "treasure," but the veggies are crunchy, service is prompt and the seafood is fresh.
