I used to live in Austin, TX and fell in love with the dish Pad See Ew at a restaurant called Madam Mam's. Since I've been in Atlanta for 3 years, I've tried about 10 different versions of this dish and am happy to say that I have found the winner: Little Bangkok. It's almost a bad thing that it tastes so good at this place because it is SO ADDICTIVE. There is something about what they put in their food that will make you crave it.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. You would never think that behind that Cheshire Bridge hole-in-the wall facade is a fabulous restaurant. The wait staff was very quick and nice. Our meals were wonderful and hot. All-in-all we had no complaints. Granted, I've only been there once, but I will bet that it becomes a staple.

  • Pros: Excellent Food, Quick Service, Cool Atmosphere, Nice Waitstaff
  • Cons: Parking

Little Bangkok is a real treat. They have great food and excellent house fried rice. The egg rolls are really good and the soups are tasty. Busy at lunch sometimes but worth the wait.

I was very specific, I can't have MSG. Ate here anyway- told OK.... A few hours later, came down with a migrane. Spent the whole night in the bathroom floor. Some of us can't handle MSG. These Asia restaurants need to learn- this is something serious for some of us!!!! Don't trust them, even if they say it's OK. They don't seem to care enough. Shame on them.

  • Pros: Cheap Food
  • Cons: Sorry Customer service, MSG used!!!

Great for lunch, entrees under $6. They get you in and out. I frequent this place and I always get my food in less than 10 mins, after ordering it. Friendly staff. Great food. Diverse menu. Dinner entrees under $8. Great portions, even during lunch. Great flavor. Authentic.

!!! The Goods:

Mongolian Chicken,

Basil Chicken,

House Lomein,

Chicken Fried Rice,

Hunan Chicken

!!Beware:

Lunch prices are under 6 dollars but credit/debit card charges have a $10 minimum.

Lunch comes with sweet and sour soup. If you dont like, make sure you ask for wonton or egg drop instead.

Chinese lunch entree comes with eggroll, so you dont have to order a side eggroll!!!

  • Pros: Great Food. Authentic. Fast Service.
  • Cons: Limited parking, during lunch no CC or debit card charges under $10, I wouldnt come with a group larger than 7.

My first impression wasn't much, parking was very limited. Once inside the hospitallity was incredible, service from our waiter was so pleasant, he made us feel like he wanted us there. We asked for a recommendation from him, which we went with... I had the coconut flavored soup....YUM!!!! and also the dumplings... Our entrees were the Basil steak and Panang Flounder.....Don't miss out on the Thai Tea...Awesome place and we'll be back.....

  • Pros: Great service and food
  • Cons: Parking

The Coconut soup and Nu Nan Tok was the worst I ever tasted. The soup was unlike anything I've ever tried. The Nu Nan Tok was burnt and very spicy when I had requested it mild. If you have ever eaten at Annie's Thai Castle or Surin you would see why I was disappointed. Never to return again. Wasted money and I'm still hungry?

  • Pros: Absolutely no highlights
  • Cons: The food is terrible

I spent several months in Thailand basically eating myself into a Thai coma. I have spent years since then trying to find something that compares. Little Bangkok is my home away from home. The most authentic curries, and spicing. I feel as though I'm back in Bangkok. The lunch specials with the spicy soup are cheap and amazingly good and filling. My favorites are the Pad Thai, Panang Chicken, Tom Kha Soup, and I hear the masaman curry is fantastic. Other noodle dishes are great as well.

This place really is a hidden find! What a deal for lunch! You get probably the best hot and sour soup I have ever had to start, and whatever you want from the lunch menu with rice for like 6 bucks after tax! My boyfriend eats here with his co-workers a few times a week and all the waiters know them and are so friendly. The pad thai is the best in Atlanta, the panang is awesome...even though I have to say that Mali's in the Va. highlands is my favorite, and the pad see ew is great too! Very authentic flavors, not americanized like some other places in ATL. They used to serve oranges after the meal was finished, but the last few times I've been they didn't do that. The service is always super speedy at lunch too. We went once for dinner and it was still really good, but its just not as cheap, which is almost half the fun! You definitely leave here full and happy, except that everyone is right, the parking is a little bit of a challenge.

  • Pros: Great food, great service, clean restaurant, great value!
  • Cons: Parking can be difficult if you get there at a peak time!

This little hole-in-the-wall on Cheshire Bridge, has become a well known jewel. This happens to be one of our favorite luncheon spots. Super clean and efficient, the menu offers both Thai and Chinese. Stick with the Thai. The Green Papaya Salad with Beef Jerkey, is out of this world. If it's on the menu, and you like it spicy, this is the food to get. Soups are very good also. Especially the Tom Yom, with shrimp. Here again, you can get it Thai hot. Massaman, Yellow, and Red Curries are outstanding. Budget prices, for great homestyle Thai. Parking is terrible.

  • Pros: Great Prices! Very Good Thai Curries! Fast Service!
  • Cons: Parking Is Awful! Go With A Group!

Little bangkok boasts of the best thai in atlanta. They have a limited thai menu and the rest is chinese. The thai food itself is okay, apart from red curry nothing really stands out. The atmosphere is more diner-like than anything else. Go there for a one-time experience.

The service and courtesy is lacking. I understand that service is not one of the strong points of any south-east asian restaurant but i was disappointed.

4/10

  • Pros: Red Curry chicken
  • Cons: Bad service, no ambience
