Great Gluten Free Selection
by Return2008
I was amazed to find their great selection of gluten free items. It is well stocked and the staff goes beyond the call of duty to find a product or refer you to where it can be found. It is very clean and great place if you have a partcular vegan item or raw item. Their produce is all organic also and they support local farmers and have local gallon milk. I find it better than their competition at five points as you can park and you do not need a membership. I would highly recommned this store as an alternative to Whole Foods as their prices are better and a more accomodating and friendlier staff. It was difficult to find but look for the Tara theater and wow you found your next best Health food store.
- Pros: Parking, prices, staff , vitamin knowledge
- Cons: hard to find

Healthy & Fresh Alternative! Now, Kosher Sushi!
by jaymaygm
This little health food alternative near the Tara Theater, at Cheshire Bridge/LaVista, just keeps getting better each year. Organic vegetables, vitamins, fresh juices, and a small take-out/cafe. Recently Kosher Sushi Rolls and Japanese Wraps, are made daily with organic ingredients. They also sell the ingredients for consumers to take home and make their own Sushi. The owner tells me, the Kosher Sushi will soon be available at several Kroger and Publix locations. This place has been a favorite of mine for years, especially being middle aged, and trying to repair all that bad food, I've put in my body for years.
- Pros: Healthy Organic Vegetables/Fruits! Kosher Sushi!
- Cons: Pricy, But What Goes Into Your Body, That Counts!
Good stuff

I stopped by for lunch after hearing a friend and her mother rave about the sushi. It's vegetarian which is a nice break from the usual fare. The sushi is beautiful and plentiful. And really cheap since all the ingredients are organic. Skip the cooler and order it fresh from the sushi chef (who's actually really cute, LOL). Overall, not a great eating atmosphere (it's like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods) but if you're going for take out, then definitely, definitely check it out.
Keep it going strong!

The "other" healthy alternative grocery store deserves another look. Prices are fair and the selection far outshines mainstream rivals like Whole Foods. Lots of changes in the last year have led to some confusion on the floor, but the staff is knowledgable and always ready to help. Produce is worth the trip alone.
- Pros: Reasonable prices for "health food" and organic
- Cons: Wait to see if upgrades are real improvements
