When my car battery died, several people suggested that I go to Pep Boys on Piedmont Road because of the great service they had received there. I called and spoke with a gentleman (I think it was Johnny) in the parts sales department. When I told him what kind of car I have, he knew immediately what kind of battery I needed without any hesitation. When I arrived with a co-worker to buy the battery, I was pleasantly greeted and directed to Johnny. He brought out the battery and carried it to the car for me. When I was unable to install the battery myself because the negative terminal was so corroded, I had the car towed to the Pep Boys. When I arrived, Anthony in the service department took care of me from start to finish. He was wonderful! He gave me an accurate estimate of how long I would have to wait, and directed me to local businesses for lunch and shopping in order to pass the time. Even though it was just a battery issue, it was somewhat stressful for me and the staff at Pep Boys helped make it go by as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend them.
