I have been suckling at the Gravity for years and years, and it has never done me wrong. I was sad to see it close temporarily, but I've been a couple times since the re-opening and it's basically the same old place. The decor, (as it were) has improved a bit, new floors, etc, but still the same sort of crew and old Gravity feel. As the old stickers said, "Gravity Pub....Not For Everyone". But if you are one, you will feel right at home.
Pros: Will drag you into a drunken world of wonderful proportions.
Cons: Gets crowded on the weekends. So does everywhere else. Live with it.

Great group of people to hang out with and THE BASEMENT WILL BE OPEN SOON! This place has had it's ups and downs, and it is on the way up. New Menu and lots of fun! Tues. is TACO night, and Sunday Brunch is great. They tell me the basement will be re-opened soon with games and stuff. Cool! Great place to hang out, and meet people too. REG's are at home. CHEERS! Atmostphere.
Pros: New crew, new food and good location
Cons: Kinda small, until the basement gets the go ahead.

Gravity Pub was the 2006 editor's choice for Best Dive Bar in Atlanta for good reason. A great place to hang out. The menu has some new and really creative items along with typical bar fare. It is the kind of atmosphere where everyone is welcome. 21 and over only. Not Buckhead, a real East Atlanta experience."
Pros: Friendly people of all types, creative mix of foods, lots of beer brands
Cons: It is not Buckhead, if that is what you are looking for

great wings and a sarcastic staff make this the best place to hang out in the EAV. if you like crescent ave. DON'T SET FOOT IN HERE!

These Guys/Gals rock. Great jukebox- Cheap drinks, and cool crowd. Let ya get crazy within reason, trust me I know, a must on the East Atlanta Pub crawl
Pros: Happy Meals, Hot Bartender

If darts is your game, this is the place to be. It's got a great dart set-up, and it is home for two teams in the Atlanta Decatur Dart Association, Atlanta's best dart league!

great food, great bartenders, trivia bingo and karoke, great location for people watching and a very ecclectic jukebox. need i say more!
Pros: cool mix of people, open basement, biker friendly
Cons: weekend parking, can't reach T.P., no cigarette machine

In the animal world, the Gravity Pub would be a chameleon, always changing to fit your mood. Want a chill place to relax with a large or small group of friends? Want a place to have a bit more raucous time on someone's birthday? Want to play darts, foosball or pool? Want to cozy up in a musty old library with your sweetie (really, it IS appealing)? The list goes on. The Gravity Pub is simply a fun place to be and its staff and patrons are always friendly.
