Tastiest Food in the WORLD!!!!!!!!
by FE FE at Citysearch
My husband and I went there for our Anniversary today. I was hesitant because of the reviews I read, but I went any due to the fact another friend of mine from Memphis went last month and told me what an awesome experience they had.
The food was so good until I could not believe it! I mean everything we ordered was good and well worth the money. We started off with the fried green tomatoes that was so delicious. I ordered the fish with yams and corn and my husband had Salmon, broccoli and deep fried plantains.
This was some of the best food ever and trust me we eat out at nice restaurants all the time and this was another all time favorite that we have to add to our list.
So the next the next time we are in the ATL we are Justin's bound!
So for anyone who read the negative reviews please please try it for yourself!
Oh I forgot, the waitress was so nice and when she found out it was our anniversary she brought us out some red velet cake and she had the chef to write on the plate in strawberry syrup HAPPY ANNIVERSATY!
This place was awesome .Good food, good servcie , who can ask for anything more?
- Pros: Best Plantains ever
- Cons: the corn and yams off the chain they so good!
Worst Place In The World!!!!

I went last night for my 30th birthday with a party of 25! We waited a while for our food even though the place was about empty! When the check came, we had to calculate our own bill because they would not split the check!!! Everybody paid and the check ended up short! The very rude waitress I believe stole some of the cash that was giving to her! I had to pay $113 extra in order to leave!
- Pros: Food is ok
- Cons: very bad customer service, overpriced
Nice spot to dine on southern food in a classy spot

II have to say I was a little skeptical of trying this restaurant after reading all the horrible reviews. However, while in Atlanta on business I stopped by Justin’s for dinner. I have to say I had a very nice experience; we went on a Thursday night and were sat right away. Our waitress was nice and well acquainted with the menu. We ordered an appetizer, entree, and dessert and all were well prepared and delicious! The pricing I felt was reasonable. There were two drawbacks to the night 1) the pipes above seemed to be leaking on the first table we sat at but the hostess immediately moved us 2) there was a casting call that night so by the time we had ate and was ready to go the main bar area and front door was PACKED with people so we couldn't get out. We had to go out the side door through the patio and it was raining so it was a slight inconvenience to paying customers.
- Pros: Your giving a nice food size portion
- Cons: One visible entrance
Horrible

We went for Martini Monday July 6, 2009 from 9p-10:45pm. The restaurant was about 1/3 rd full. The bar area was empty. The DJ was boring. The food was over price and HORRIBLE. Not sure who the chef is but they had a item. Puffed pastry stuffed with jered chicken, collard greens, peas & rice. That is a combination that should never happen. Just the thought of all that in a pastry make me want to gag.
We sent back the jeft chicken eggrolls, an jerked chicken wings. Jerked chicken should be spicy but not uneatable. The fried wings are over seasoned. The Carribean Breeze drink was decent, but I enjoyed Players Punchh (little too strong).
It was 5 of us ladies and we would never go again. Our waitress was very nice. That was the only plus.
- Pros: Waitress was nice
- Cons: Menu and Food was horrible
Worst Dining Experience Ever
by sweetspirited3680 at Citysearch
This restaurant is overrated just like its owner. First, the menu is riduculously overpriced. The second inconvenience was the fact that this restaurant does not provide separate checks at all.
- Pros: Nice Decor
- Cons: Overpriced and No Separate Checks

DIDDY REALLY NEEDS TO STEP THIS PLACE UP. #1 I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE A NICE B-DAY DINNER HERE.............WRONG... THE MENU WAS VERY SAD, AND WHATS EVEN MORE SAD IS THAT OUR WAITRESS CAME TO TAKE OUR ORDER BUT TOLD US THE THINGS THEY WERE OUT OF,WHICH WAS EVERY DAMN MEAT ON THE MENU, AND HOW HE GONNA HAVE MORE SIDES THAN MAIN PART OF THE MEAL WHICH WAS THE MEATS..... THAT SHYT WASN'T EVEN WORTH THE 5.OO I PAID FOR PARKING AND ONLY ENDED UP ORDERING 2 DRINKS THAT CAME UP TO 28.00 OMG!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS WASTED GAS MONEY.....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: WORST PLACE IN ATL.
Overpriced

Dinner was good. Nothing extraordinary. Overpriced. Also you have to pay five dollars to park, whether you valet or self park.
- Cons: Fee to self park
Ripoff Alert! False Advertising! Bait and Switch

I wanted to do something exttaordinary for my son who graduated earlier in the day from Morehouse College. We went to the Sunday Brunch. What a contradiction to lure people into the restaurant on a Sunday, a holy day. The waffles had to be cut with a steak knife. The chicken was cold. The ribs were tough. The catfish was leftovers from previous days and taste like it had been microwaved for a few days prior. Absolutely horrible! I do not recommend and I am appalled that Sean Combs would associate his child's name with something that was non consumable. Horrible! Horrible! absolutely horrible!
- Pros: convenient parking
- Cons: cold, tough day-old food
One of my favorite ATL spots.

I have been to Justin's several times, the service and food have always been impeccable and the atmosphere is enjoyable! It is a breath of fresh air from all the stuffy spots intown. I personally think alot of the negative reviews are from people who are automatically judgemental and overly critical especially of an african american establishment. No you are not gonna get your grandmother's cooking it is a restaurant and they have to cater to all not just you and your grandmama go bakc to BAMA for that.
While I'm not a fan of martini monday anymore just not my scene the way it used to be unless I'm in the mood to be seen. Overall, I love Justin's especially the P. Diddy cocktail and the caribean chicken with plantains. I will be back soon!
- Pros: Service and Food
- Cons: Sometimes bar is crowded
Star Search

I have had the opportunity to visit Justin's on several occasions and found it to be a very fun and sociable atmosphere to be in. Of course the food does not compare to my grandmothers southern cooking but, that was never my expectation anyway. My grandmother does not work for Justin's (Smile). Anyway, if you're interested in a great night out I recommend stopping by. Who knows who you might see.
