Very fresh susshi

Most of the reviews I read are over a year old so I thought I would update as of April 2009. We had a very nice meal here. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The fish was very fresh and nicely prepared. Would definitely go back.
- Pros: fresh fish, nice drinks, nice staff
- Cons: none that come to mind
Hip Midtown Place by d j. at InsiderPages

Have eaten here a couple of times and always found it to be a pretty good option from some of the more known sushi bars. Not a big a eel eater but discovered even that could be made delectable as it was here, but in general a good choice is you're an avid sushi enthusiast. Oh and the plum wine, excellent.
Hip place to grab sushi and a glass of wine by Meaghan T. at InsiderPages

When I moved to Atlanta a few years back, this is one of the first restaurant's I ate at ITP. I continue to go back at least a few times a year because this is one of the best places for a chilled out dinner with friends, grabbing a bite before a concert, or just because. They have a great drag show on Monday nights that will entertain! The sushi is great and I have never ever had a problem with the food or the service. The prices are pretty reasonable, considering the area. Do try the chocolate bread pudding, it is to die for! They also offer some asian fusion type dishes which are good if there are sushi haters in your group. The wine list is good, nothing crazy over the top. The only down side is the parking. The valet is hit or miss and if you get there at the wrong time, you could end up waiting a bit for the valet. Make reservations on a Monday night or weekend.
Poor, Poor Service

Living around the corner, I have visited this place a few times. The food is decent. However, the service is not so good. Last visit, our order was taken and food came about 15 min served by someone out of the kitchen. Not sure, where our waiter was, because we hadn't received our drinks yet.
Tonight we arrived around 6:30 PM, there was around 8-9 tables of customers. The host seated us at the back of the restaurant behind the sushi bar when there were plenty of seats open. After about 15 min of no service, we made contact with the waiters...no order yet. The host peeked back around the corner, so we waited about 5 more minutes hoping he would find someone for us. No such luck . We finally decided after 20 minutes to leave. As we walked toward the door, the 2 hosts turned and started talking to each other and completed ignored us as we walked out the door. I have never been treated so rude.
- Pros: Good location.
- Cons: Poor service. Rude host and hostest.
What trendy is and good is not

This restaurant is a joke. Unless you are treasuring generic high-tech interiors, high attitude of personal and drag shows more then your food you should not even consider visiting. This is a good example of what trendy is and good is not.
- Pros: Generic/familiar Japanese cuisine for novice
- Cons: Rather sloppy and high attitude service + Generic/familiar Japanese cuisine for novice
lousy treatment of customer

Don't go there. The "complimentary" valet is a rip-off. After spending $100 at the restaurant, I walked across the street for about 10 minutes. When I returned, the valet guys intimidated me into paying $10 dollars before they would give me my car. They threatened to call the police if I didn't pay. They did this AFTER I had already given them their tip. What a lousy way to treat a long-term loyal customer that has given that business hundreds of dollars over the years. I will never go there again after such a miserable experience.

We love this Sushi place and the restaurant itself is really cool looking. It is the tipical midtown crowd after all!! The sushi is always fresh and the service is generally impecable (although we have had not super friendly waiters in a couple of ocassions).
- Pros: Great sushi
- Cons: It could be a little loud
Not the best sushi I ever had

The restaurant is cool but he sushi is a little weird. It's like they tried too hard to jazz it up and I like more of the traditional sushi rolls. Not recommended for the sushi purist.
not the place to go if you know sushi

Nikimogo's is a really nice restaurant. It looks good and atomosphere is awsome. However, as for sushi (I dont know about other menus), the restaurant is below average. Not only the portion is ridiculously small and it is over priced, sushi at nikimoto's is not authenic. As an native japanese and someone who used to work at a sushi place, I know that sushi chefs there are not experienced at all. So, if you want to grab some americanized suhsi at a fashionable place, it is a good place to go but if you really enjoy sushi, not recommended.
- Pros: sushi, price
- Cons: atomosphere, service
Best Sushi

The sushi is awesome. Try the dragon roll and Yami Yami roll. Those are the best. The fried rice is also great.
