Come to the Tavern for the park, stay for the beer! With anywhere between 2 and 5 house-brewed beers in styles ranging from a crisp pilsner to a coffee-flavored porter, Park Tavern offers a beer for every taste. Combine that with a great view of the park and ample outside seating, you have one great summer evening. Make sure you check it out!

My buddies and I had a great time at park tavern the other night. The music was great, there a bunch of good looking girls, the new seafood on the menu was great, our waitress did a great job, and everyone was friendly. We are going more often, especially on sundays with the good music. If you haven't been you need to go and check it out. The place over looks the park.
Pros: service, food, ambience
Cons: none

I have been a loyal Park Tavern customer for years!! Home brewed beer at $4.00 a pint, with a 'when it rains we pour' $1.00 promotion. Fantastic diverse new menu! From burgers and chicken tenders, to steak and seafood (Don't forget the BBQ!), Park tavern has a meal to fit everyones budget. Best repeat customer rewards program, just ask your server. Any time I have guests in town, I always put Park Tavern on our itinerary!!
Pros: Ambiance, Food

We went with our group this past weekend and had the most incredible time ever. We were there for my friends' 23rd birthday party and the staff set-up our table in record time and proceeded to shower us with fun. They even stored our cake and brought it back with birthday candles and glass plates and a cake-cutting knife! A wedding was going on in the tent and we were treated to the sounds of a great wedding band next to us. We all were in agreement that the Park Tavern is a wonderful addition to the Atlanta restaurant scene. (oh when it rained they started the dollar drafts and we stayed all night saving us over $100 on our bar tab!) Even the manager was the sweetest guy and maybe one of my friends has a crush on him! We will all be back tommorrow!
Pros: Great service and $1 drafts
Cons: Need more Park Taverns!

A group of us went to Park Tavern last Saturday for "When it rains, we pour- $1 drafts".... little did we know, it doesn't really exist. After the bartenders were rude, telling us it "hadn't rained long enough"- even though all of the tables from outside had moved inside because of the downpour- the Manager proceeded to continue the rudeness. I approached the Manager and asked why there weren't $1 draft beers, since that is what a group of us came for, he proceeded to tell me that 1) they were crowded 2) it was up to his discretion when and IF he wants to give $1 beers. The Manager stated that on the website there is a disclaimer that it is up to his discretion if he would like to have his ever-standing promotion or not. The website does have a disclaimer, but it states more than 1/4 inch of rain, which was definatley surpassed on Saturday. Needlesstosay, we did not get $1 drafts and we will not be going back to Park Tavern again. Poor service, rude staff- for a great location I'd suggest Quattro on the other side of the park, better food and service.
Pros: Great views of the park
Cons: Rude manager & bartenders

I highly suggest that you do not go to Park Tavern for dinner for these reasons: 1.) Rude Waiters: The waiters were absolutely rude and took an extremely long time to bring the drinks. It was my girlfriend's 21st birthday and people had a lot of drink requests to buy for her. Unfortunately those orders never went through because the waiters were gone 90% of the time. I ordered a sweet tea and did not even have a re-fill. 2.) Slow checks: I waited nearly 45 minutes to get my check from the waiter. Once it arrived I gave him the check back and waited nearly another 30 minutes to get the change back. 3.) Lack of security in the area: As we were leaving, our close friends had their car broken into and their GPS device stolen. The security guards drove up and down the parking lot and did not see the man. The area is poorly lit and the fence separating the park and the parking lot is nearly non-existent. So the man who stole the GPS smashed the window and ran off into the park. When Atlanta PD was contacted we were placed on hold and 4 phone calls to get a unit to come out. A unit came out but was for a fist fight that occurred in front of the tavern. If the 3 reasons listed is what you call a great evening then this place is certainly for you. However for us, that was the first and LAST time we will ever go back to Park Tavern.

When you live in the suburbs and want to make the drive into midtown for a romantic dinner, my husband and I love to come to the Park Tavern. We always order the steak or salmon and their signature Artichoke Dip. The food is alwys good and we've gotten to know some of the servers who remember us. That personal touch always wins! There we find the best view in the city as we gaze at the stars and moon and hold hands. Isn't romance grand????!!!!!!!
Pros: Lots of free parking
Cons: Everyone likes to come here in the good weather!

if you really want to feel like you are part of the Atlanta scene, have a meal at Park Tavern on a beautiful Atlanta day. Food is good, atmosphere better, young and old, kid friendly.... Perfect place to bring out of town guests.

Big up to the party there Friday night. The music was great downstairs DJ Saxwell FrontPage did his thing. Upstairs was cool too with dj neaux and e-class. The sound system upstairs was blaring upstairs though. A lil intolerable, my ears rang all night.
