Great Place

I love Cactus Car Wash. The first time I ever went there I had a car that I never paid a lot of attention to when they were finished with it, my wheels looked a little shotty, certainly not the way the looked before I went in there but hey the car didn't look the same either. It was a fairly new car that I really just didn't care much about. So how can I sit here and assume that I know all of the details about my car when I never look for them and they are in the business of doing that? they comped me a few washes and detail services for the trouble. This was about 4 years ago and since then I have learned to appreciate the 'details' of my car more so than before and these guys are the only ones that handle my ride. Great people, great atmosphere and awesome customers. I have met dozens of celebrities since going there. This place is truly a landmark in the Atlanta community.

worst car wash ever

They damaged my car, gave me the run around, finally allowed me to fill out a damage report and promised to review the video in order to investigate my claim. Despite their promises, they never got back to me with the results of the video review and then never returned my phone calls when I tried to follow up. The manager was confrontational and sarcastic. I now go out of my way to warn people away from this business.

Cactus Car was does a great job. It is really crowded, so you have to go early. They are very nice and if they miss a spot, they will run it back through.

TERRIBLE CAR WASH

They damaged my car and have refused to pay for it. The management is very unprofessional and rude. Do NOT take your car here.

Beware of Cactus.

I took my car there because they are one of the few places that use a clay bar. I paid 249.95 for the works service which includes according to them "everything you can do to a car", such as carpet shampoo, leather conditioning, engine pressure wash, spray paint the fender walls so it looks new, clay bar, compound, wax, and so forth.

I arrived at 11: 55 AM and was told the whole process would take two and a half hours so I left and had something to eat locally and came back around 2:15. By 3:30 they were still working on my car and did not finish until 4:20. As they were making the finishing touches on the car I had noticed something on my rims that looked like wax buildup and that was never there before. They tried using Mothers Wheel Cleaner to remove it and it would not come off.

Finally, a manager (Karl) came by and looked at my wheels and said that the chrome lip on the wheels were etched from the chemical that they used to clean them and that the chemical was probably left on there too long. They finally gave me a card to a wheel man that repairs wheels and said that they would provide free car washes to make up for the accident. I was SO MAD and who are they kidding? They want me to pay out of pocket for their damage and come back so they can do the same again? NO WAY! I took pictures when I arrived home and will turn this into the Triple B (this site will not allow me to put the full spelling or abreviation of it on here).

The wax work they did looked good, but they did NOT remove the pine sap that was on top of my roof. I paid $250 to have them ruin my $2000 Rays wheels. Professional car wash centers should know better than use harsh chemicals on wheels; there is no excuse.

Did not do only thing they were asked to do, which they said they could do

I had a stain on the carpet that I wanted removed, so I asked whether they could do it. I was assured and reassured that it would be "no problem." I did not ask for any other service, and I paid $25 to have the stain "reduced," while it is still obviously there. They were not that busy, so they were either lazy or dishonest, but either way just didn't do what they said they would. They also fail to tell you when your car is ready, which is garbage, and their waiting area is dirty and moderately rundown. I will never go back and I would never send anyone there.
