The Scene
This quaint store looks as if it holds your elegant great-aunt's finest frocks. It specializes in women's clothing and accessories that date from the turn of the century to the 1970s; most selections hover between the '40s and '60s.

The Goods
Look here for a classic spin on everyday wear, evening gowns and party costumes. You'll find the best selection of vintage costume jewelry in town, along with an assortment of hats, gloves, purses and old dress patterns. The once-worn dresses, suits and separates are in great shape. Expect a few jewels from the '30s, like a fabulous net evening gown or a gorgeous silk wedding dress with its original wax-flowered headdress. Revisit the '70s in split dresses over hot pants and men's ruffled tux shirts.

Good shop

I like this place. More selective than many vintage places, so everything is good. Great jewelry and lots of it. The kimonos are 2 die 4. .

I love this shop.

I love this shop. It's my favorite vintage shop in the country, and I check them out wherever I go. It's a beautiful and soothing space - not your usual crowded, junky vintage shop. While the store is fairly small, the pieces are well-selected, and they bring items from their website out for you to try on in the shop, so it's bigger than it seems. The jewelry and accessories are exquisite. (I could go on forever about the hats!) I go to Frock of Ages when I need to look exceptionally great, and they have never let me down. Their fashion sense is flawless, and they work with you until everything is perfect, but what I like best is that it is not one of those boutiques with attitude. Everyone is friendly - it is like going into a friend's closet - a friend with very good taste!

Frock rocks!

Great fashion, great setting, great fun. They have everything here from the hat to the jewelry to the dress to the shoes and purse. It is easy to find what you want here too because it is neat and well-displayed. I recommend!

This is the best place to find really good clothing. You will pay much less for a great dress that you would pay at the mall or a boutique, and everyone will wonder where you found something so unique. The stuff is in great shape - and you get to listen to old jazz as you shop.

Frock: a blast from the past

This is the best collection of vintage clothes and accessories in Atlanta.Dating from the 40's through the 70's, this array of hats,gloves, shoes ,jewelry and dresses is awesome and beautifully displayed.Come on down to Frock of Ages where you can experience the good old days!

My favorite vintage store

This is a GREAT store, the best I have found in Atlanta or anywhere. Wonderful selection of vintage pieces, the best ones from the first three quarters of the last century (lots of 30's. 40's and 50's), and accessories to match. They are helpful and friendly, and you can tell they love these clothes. I have found my favorite things here.
