There's nothing better!

We have been going to this place for years and there isn't a better place to get pizza as far as I'm concerned. You can have anything you like in a relaxed atmosphere, punctuated with great tunes and chill employees. They have great beer on tap and enough sence not to change who they are. You can't go to little 5 in Atlanta without trying some of their wares, you won't regret it.
- Pros: No competition
- Cons: Didn't know they had any
Nestled in the heart of Little Five Points, this grungy pizza place is appropriately quirky, and knows how to throw some dough.
by Christina Saul at Citysearch
The inflated crocodile is a spot-on backdrop for this bustling nook in Little Five Points, with the crowd as random as the decorations. Maybe the best people watching in the city, its low-key DIY-style brings in starving artists among cash-loaded youth looking for trouble. The kitchen, situated in open view just behind the counter serves up cheap-but-solid staples and friendly staffers deliver the goods. Garlic bread comes heavily-spiced with a marinara dipping sauce, and the pizza arrives on a wax-paper-lining aluminum pan. Their pies are NY-flat and for around $2, a slice unloads bang for your buck. The small space can feel cozy or cramped depending on how many people you bring, but the food is out quick and it doesn't bust your wallet.
High Marks
"The more limited my funds are, the more I love this place. Two slices of very decent pizza and a draft beer for five bucks and change? How can you beat that?" (JohnKress_Citysearch, Citysearch user)
"It is my humble opinion that the "special slice" is the best in Atlanta." (clincher, Citysearch user)
Low Marks
"if you want tastless, greasy, or burned pizza then I'd recommend L5 pizza. But don't worry, you won't pay extra for the rude service." (Googly4U, Citysearch user)
"However, the atmosphere was a little sketchy." (radfordsinatl, Citysearch user)
Worst Pizza Place in Atlanta
by Googly4U at Citysearch
I mean, if you want tastless, greasy, or burned pizza then I'd recommend L5 pizza. But don't worry, you won't pay extra for the rude service.
- Pros: Location.
- Cons: Everything.
Great pizza, great service, bad atmosphere.
by radfordsinatl at Citysearch
We went to L5P Pizza with friends because it was highly recommended, and for good reason the pizza was great and very reasonably priced. However the atmosphere was a little sketchy. The six of us sat inside and ate our pizza, then found a table outside to continue drinking. As we were sitting outside some skaters approached the patio trying to pick a fight with us because we 'looked' at him. When we told him to buzz off he said he was going to go inside and do something to our food on our food. Which tells me he probably knows someone working inside (that can't be good for business). So instead of drinking more beer we decided to go somewhere that the customers didn't smell like body odor and had a little more class. Which is too bad cause the food was excellent and I guess you can't hold the restaurants accountable for stupid locals that hang out there. However I will be more likely to go elsewhere to eat and drink. Or maybe order it as take-out.
- Pros: Great Pizza Great Value
- Cons: Bad atmosphere, smelly hippies and homeless ppl.
Excellent pizza
by GTGirl2 at Citysearch
The best pizza by far. I've tried other pizza joints in the area but none compare to L5P. When you're craving pizza, this is the place you want to go!
- Pros: great little neighborhood place, people watching, cool shops in the area
- Cons: no convenient parking, bums
Try it and you'll love it ! !

The true definition of "don't judge a book by it's cover". The pizza here is exceptional!! I have recently moved to the Grant Park area and have always heard about L5P but have never been so I decided to do dinner there last night. I used to be a fanatic of Mellow Mushroom but after eating the pepperoni and chicken pizza from L5P Pizza, no longer will I be mellow. Great pizza! ! !
- Pros: Excellent Pizza
- Cons: Music is a bit on the "alternative" side
