I think this place rocks veggie style!

by GingerLynn0 at Citysearch

I love this place! Best Veggie Pizza in Atlanta. I usually go to the one in Highlands but the one in Midtown is great as well.

  • Pros: Veggie Pizza
  • Cons: no parking in Highlands

An Atlanta tradition... everybody knows about these guys...

by Jess1984 at Citysearch

This place has been open since the 70's and being 23... I've been coming here since I was a tiny tot. I honestly don't care for italian because alot of the time it's just bland in my opinion... BUT.. everybodys knows what they're doing, they do it well. A little bit on the pricier side for italian (I'm frugal about dining out) ... but it is worth it... they use fresh ingredients and the pizza crust has the perfect crunch.

  • Pros: Yummy pizza and a warm collegiate atmosphere near Emory
  • Cons: $$ the food costs a bit more than I would care to pay everytime I want pizza....

Good food but don't expect your "average" pizza

by getoffmylawn at Citysearch

I like Everybody's, but we only eat there once in a while since they're menu doesn't really offer very healthy food - but it's pizza, so what can you expect? I really like their pizza sandwiches, which are basically a pizza folded in half with ingredients spilling out and a sauce to dip into. The Chicken & Cheese sandwich is very good. The pizzas are pretty good, depending on what you get. These aren't your typical tomatoey tasting pizzas - more like a pub version of California Pizza kitchen, if you're looking for a point of version. The service is usually friendly, and the Decatur location is definitely faster and better than the Va Highlands location. In particular, the bartenders are quite friendly whenever I drop in for carryout. It's not a date place, but a good local neighborhood spot to meet for a casual meal and drink. It's across the street from Emory, so there are always a lot of college kids there. If I had to choose between Everybody's and Saba around the corner, it's Everybody's, hands down. If I'm in the mood for "real" pizza, I'd probably head over to Fellini's instead.

  • Pros: Great Pizza Sandwiches, friendly bartenders
  • Cons: can be greasy. If you just want pizza, go to Domino's next door

Loyal customer since 1973

by marytjam at Citysearch

I remember when Everybody's was half the size it is today. I went there for pizza on the day that the college book store next door burned down. Everybodys was closed to assist with the emergency. Everybody's is an insititution in itself. We eat there at least 2 or 3 times each month. We bring out of town friends and family there for the special Everybody's Pizza and salad. The food is fresh and always delicious. The parmasan salad dressing is as outstanding as the pizza. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the wait staff are always pleasant and helpful. Go there and enjoy!

  • Pros: eady parking, great food, pleasant environment and staff and reasonable prices.
  • Cons: gets crowed sometime....

Awful!

by taferrin at Citysearch

This was the worst pizza I've ever had. We had it delivered - was cold when it got here. It was too spicey - the cheese tasted horrible and the crust was FAR from thin crust. All the ingredients were sitting in the middle of the pizza and to top it all off - IT WAS HORRIBLY EXPENSIVE.

I guess coming from Chicago I've been spoiled by great pizza! This place doesn't even come close. Will never eat here again.

  • Pros: fast delivery
  • Cons: horrible pizza!

Excellent College-Town Pizza! Everybody Is Somebody Here!

by jaymaygm at Citysearch

Today I had to see an eye specialist at Emory Hospital, and was extremely hungry after my appointment. The Emory University campus offers very little, so I just walked over to the neighborhood Emory Village. Alot of the old places are now closed-Horton's Drugstore, The Cedar Tree and others. But alas, Everybody's Pizza is still alive. It has been at least twenty-five years, since I've walked through those doors. And it was like walking back to my college days. Started with an excellent mixed greens salad, with home-made Pameasan dressing and anchovies. Yum! Got the house special "Everybody's Pizza", individual size. The toppings were all fresh and excellent-peperoni, mushrooms, bell pepper, and topped with an extra order of Mozz. Cheese-straight out of my hippie days, when all fresh veggies were used. No fancy gourmet toppings here, just good healthy toppings, like we all remember. Loved our server. Much too young to be a hippie, she dosen't even know what the word means. Loved the classical music in the background.

  • Pros: Old Style Fesh Veggie Toppings! Killer Crust!
  • Cons: Parking Can Be Tight!

Expensive and bad pizza

by seanuf99 at Citysearch

I read some good reviews of this place. So I called and order a large pie for delivery. It came quickly and hot. But, that was all that was good. The pizza cost $16 and change... I gave the driver a $20, he went to leave, I asked for change. He said "how much do you want?" I said all of it. He handed it back, then I gave him $2. The crust was 2-3 times thicker than it should have been and it tasted like white bread. The crust, sauce and cheese- ALL BLAND. I swear, Papa John's is much better, and I dont even like papa johns...

  • Pros: fast, hot
  • Cons: expensive, poor quality

Bland, average and highly overrated

by piazzollachick at Citysearch

30 years ago I thought Everybody's was the most overrated pizza place in town. After recently spending some time on the Emory campus I tried them again, and my opinion is still the same.

The pizza has a very thick bready and doughy crust. The sauce isn't spicy enough. The toppings are skimpy, which is fine because they're also not very flavorful. This is a very bland pizza. If you prefer chewy bread to real pizza, Everybody's is your place.

The restaurant itself is a cut above the average hole in the wall. It's going for something between little bistro and dump. The walls are brick with lots of big windows. Parking can be a problem as the lot next to the restaurant is small and serves several other shops in the area. The staff is friendly but the service is only average.

My opinion is that Everybody's has managed to survive and thrive in this location for decades only because it's located at the edge of the Emory University campus. College students are notorious pizza consumers and not especially demanding. Everybody's probably figures into a lot of pleasant memories of college days, but it's not because of the food.

If you're in the neighborhood and famished, it's an ok place to go. Definitely not worth going more than three miles out of your way for though (and that's ROUND TRIP!).

  • Pros: Covenient to Emory University Campus
  • Cons: Bland pizza on a too thick doughy crust

Completely Delicious!

by gretel at Citysearch

I LOVE Everybody's Pizza! It is one of the very best pizza joints in town. Organic salads are available with a huge variety of healthy choices for toppings. And the red wine vinaigrette is AMAZING! The pizza comes with a hefty amount of toppings, and there is a huge variety of toppings to choose from as well. My favorite is the goat cheese and tomato pizza. Delicious! But, the standard pepperoni is also a fave. Highly recommended!
