The Scene
Located next to the Star Bar in Little Five Points, Satellite Records is an unpretentious little record store that has helped re-energize the city's dance scene. The Atlanta location of this New York business is a beat-up joint, with stains on the floor and scuff marks on the wall. But the emphasis is on product, and the employees--DJs themselves--know it well.

The Goods
Filled with vinyl, this store is all about dance music. LPs line the walls, and a variety of musical styles--techno, trance, house, drum and bass, nu jazz--are represented. It can be daunting if you're not familiar with dance music, but grab a stack of samples and give them a spin on the house turntables.
