Huge Disappointment
by Josephus1300
Probably the worst $1.85 cup of coffee I have ever had. As another reviewer has accurately stated, the staff were not much better--not friendly and act as if they are doing you a favor for being open. Go to QuikTrip and have a better cup of coffee for half the price. There are MUCH better coffee shops in the area.
- Pros: They are open
- Cons: Parking, Coffee,
Rude & Wrong

The staff and management here are missing the boat! There is way too much coffee competition in the market to be a bunch of jerks. My friends and I visited once and will never go back - first of all, don't park there - they love to tow your car, don't try to joke with the staff - they are impossible & if you ever have to deal with management - forget it - they will never call you back. No wonder the other one on Piedmont went out of business - that's what happens when you treat your customers like second rate citizens! On a happier note - there is a Starbucks less than block away!!
The Best. Ever!

Aurora should be a Southern tourist attraction. The coffee here is entirely without rival.
Go here daily.
- Pros: the best coffee ever
- Cons: there aren't more, locations
Indie coffeehouse mixes urban design with serious java moxie.

The Scene
This likeable local coffeehouse offers a mix of funky industrial design, basic coffeehouse comforts (newspapers, just enough space to camp out) and consistently excellent coffees and coffee beverages. Service can be on the grumpy side, especially early in the morning. But who really cares about smiling faces before that first cup?
The Food
Don't come to Aurora expecting to find coffee gadgetry or consistent baked goods. Do come for the coffee. Aurora's three Atlanta locations run rings around the national chain representatives. Look for top-notch espresso shots or simple drip brews; lattes are particularly good. A pre-work cup of one of the daily specials will still be giving you heart palpitations well past lunch.

Aurora Coffee by far is the freshest coffee in the neighborhood. This is a no nonsense attitude place with great service and good knowledge of what they are selling.
Best Cup of Joe in Atlanta
by KeriK
Aurora has by far the best coffee selection in town. They also are a true "coffee" shop, none of those fru-fru drinks that other coffee shops serve. The variety of coffees are well researched for the best selection around and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about the types and places of origin of each coffee offered. There is obviously a lot of research and care that goes into the selections that are served, this is very clear in the high quality of the coffee, I would recommend this coffee house to anyone who really enjoys a good cup of "real" coffee.
- Pros: Many locations!, Excellent service!, Great value!
- Cons: NONE, NONE, NONE
Cool Beans

If youre sipping Starbucks, put it down and try this coffee shop. The coffee richer and fresher, and Aurora is a local institution instead of a national chain. The one in Little Five has the coolest interior, but the one in Virginia-Highland is next to a used bookstore thats fun to look in.
- Pros: Rich coffee, Local chain
- Cons: Addictive
