Been to trivia night on Tuesdays and it's always a good time - would recommend getting there early to form a team or join in on one - for the most part everyone there is really friendly!

I used to be a regular about 3 years ago but moved to Dover Delaware. We got to know Joey, Jill, Kelly and Mike as our bartenders at Neighbors Pub. They were so good to us. It was our favorite local bar. I was in town all this week for business and visited the bar 3 times and had a terrible experince each and every time I was there. What happened to this place? The food has gone down hill, the bartenders were rude and it took nearly 20 minutes for me to get 2 beers on Friday night! On one visit, I had to sit and wait for a beer while the bartender talked to a waitress for 10 minutes! Althought the bar looked like it used to it really lost the feel it used to have. Work on the food a little, improve customer service, and bring back the old staff. Please!

Cons: terrible food, crappy service, gross floors

I always have a great time at Neighbors...I think this is mostly due to the location more than anything else! It is close to everything in Virginia Highlands & has a great, large outdoor patio area!

Terrible food, horrible service, arrogant and rude manager. Crappy music and the worst drinks..definitly not what I want to spend my money on. Ill never go back. The Patio is waaaay over rated...BIg Deal...you get to sit outside... Its the junkiest place I have been in the city and the atmosphere is as bad as the dirty, sticky floors....I can't believe they are still in business. If you have any taste, you'll think otherwise about heading to this place. There are just too many places in the city to settle for this...

My first experince 2 years ago was not a good one. I am a new fan now! I have not been here in a while but something has changed and I think it is the mngt. The service was warm and inviting, food great and prices reasonable. I was particulary pleased that I had a nice long visit with a friend and we never felt rushed. This is also a great place if you just want to steal away for a nice meal by your self during an off time and enjoy the outdoors. Again great service and a great place to relax.

nice place to sit outside, but the food needs a lot of help. even the most basic sandwiches aren't very good.

I'm not sure why I like Neighbor's so much really, the food is average, the service is average, the beer selection is average - but I do find myself there most Tuesday evenings. The patio isn't really that much to go on about, but it's big, plenty of spaces to sit, and it's happening. I like the scene at Neighbor's, fun friendly people hang out there, and I highly recommend it. Trivia night is the best, Tuesdays. But look out for the Joe Shaunessy Team... they are a worthy adversary.

Thank you CitySearch for helping find this great place. I am from Key Largo, FL and was looking for a place for karaoke or at least "Monday Night Football". Lo and behold I found both at Neighbor's. The service was excellent, as was the karaoke host. My server was Todd and he didn't miss a beat all night, especially as busy as it was. He even had a go at the mike ... a server with some showmanship, my hat's off to him. Best feature was the "locals/regulars" they accepted me like I was a friend/local. It's nice to find a place away from home to feel so at home!!!!!

Pros: Karaoke Host, Service, Local Atmosphere

Cons: need more parking

Bartender with the beautiful blue eyes made my first trip to Neighbors very enjoyable!! Will be back very soon. Our service on the party was great, especially considering the large size of our group.

Cons: Parking, Need Buckets of Beer
