After hearing about Murphy's brunch I decided to take a friend from out of town there. After a 50 minute wait (which I expected) we were sat. The waitress was too busy to give us any service and we got the feeling we were bothering her. I ordered the crabcake benedict and she got a frittata. We also ordered coffees and a bread basket while we were waiting for the entree. Nothing arrived. I finally was able to flag her down and ask about our starters and she banged the table with a roll up of silverware and said she would be right back. Toast basket was nothing like she described so she took it away but the lattes were fine. Our entrees and toast basket arrived at the same time and the frittata was just flat and my benedict was tasteless. Again 5 minutes to flag her down for ketchup for the hashbrowns and to remind her she forgot to bring a side of grits for my guest. Just not a noteworthy restaurant at all. It was worse than I HOP. I will not be taking anyone there again nor recommending it to anyone. If I want to take someone to brunch I will go to South City Kitchen or the Ritz Carlton where you get good food and reliable service. That place was sad.
Pros: Nice place, good wine list
Cons: A wait for horrible service and food
