Let me just say, if you are looking for the BEST TREATMENT in an atlanta salon look no further! I am a natural dirty blonde but for two years embraced my inner angelina jolie (circa: billy bob). Needless to say I was dark, very dark. A few months ago I decided it was time to lighten up. However, I experienced the misfortune of horrible highlights (at another salon which will go nameless) that gave my new growth on the top of my head highlights but the length was still dark brown. I looked like a nightmare. I got on citysearch, saw Junko's coupon, and read some reviews claiming it to be afforadble. So I booked the appt with AKIKO, a junior stylist. (I know at this point you're thinking I should've opted for a senior stylist given my situation - but I was looking to spend as little as I could get away with.) It was a Saturday and they were very busy but I was greeted nicely at the door and introduced to my stylist. After much deliberation Akiko got started. She explained to me how complicated it would be but that she would do her best. Next, the SALON OWNER, JUNKO came over and made sure I was comfortable and worked a little with my hair too. I WAS SO NERVOUS that I was about to get stuck with a $300 tab. I mean, when have you ever had the salon's owner herself AND a stylist work on your hair? When I was finished, I looked INCREDIBLE! My hair was perfectly dirty blonde again. I could hardly believe she pulled it off. I was so impressed I said I will write a review as soon as I get home! Also, my bill was only $150! What? I gladly pulled out my coupon and debit card, paid and tipped, then floated on a cloud right out of there! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SALON TO TREAT YOU LIKE YOU'RE ROLLING IN THE DOUGH, (even if you're not) AND GET YOUR HAIR STYLED, CUT, OR DYED TO PERFECTION GO TO JUNKO.....AND ASK FOR AKIKO OR JUNKO.
Pros: friendly perfectionists!

I have always had extremely curly, long hair that is very difficult to manage, and getting a haircut is something I dread. No one can ever seem to cut it right. A friend mentioned to me that she has been going to Junko's for 3 years now, and loves it. I decided to give it a try. I have been to Junko's four times and used two different stylists (the stylist I usually use was away one weekend). I was very happy with all of my experiences there. I have had my hair both colored and cut there, and have never received more compliments.

I have been looking for a salon in Atlanta since I moved here. I did tons of research and decided to give Junko a shot. My hair is very long and has been maintained by the same stylist in Florida for 4 years now. I went in for long layers and came out with a complete disaster. My thick long locks were absolutely destroyed. The stylist kept thinning and kept thinning my hair. The layers are very chunky and uneven. It's awful. I have no idea what i'm going to do. Judging by the looks of it, i'm going to have to have it all cut off and start over again.

Thier customer care is the greatest. Coloring skill is the best in town. I saw one customer with green hair came from other salon to have fixed. She was crying but she was smiling when she left. The Salon seems always looking for and trying for a better service for customers and the place has a mature feeling.

I went to Junko today for the first time. Initially, I just decided to go there because none of other high-rated salons were open on Sunday. But I am so happy with my choice and will go back there again.
Pros: great hair cute, price, location

I've been going to Junko's for 14 years. Upon moving to Atlanta, I tried a Quick Clips kind of place but wasn't satisfied. A co-worker recommended Junko. It was the best advice I had ever gotten. I color my hair red. As anyone with red color knows, it fades like the dickens and needs to be redone regularly. With Junko's care and products, I can prolong the color so my gray roots don't show too badly and the fading is minimized. The diversity of the clientele is truly amazing. Yet, Junko's is able to satisfy customers young and old with a variety of hair issues. My Mom lives in Florida and I made her take my hair appointment during one of her visits. She LOVED the experience. Her cut and treatement were beyond compare. For me, my hair always looks fresh and stylish. I come out looking like a million dollars!
Pros: Professional stylists who know their business, great atmosphere

With my busy schedule, their options for hours fit right into when I might have a break and they are always happy to see you. Wonderful atmosphere, great people and fabulous hair cuts, just make it all the better to go to.
Pros: Flexable hours
Cons: Couldn't find one.

I'm a man in his late 20's. I recently moved ITP and had to find a new person to cut my hair. When I called Junko (JOON-ko) the receptionist was quite pleasant and friendly in helping me set up an appointment. When I arrived, one of their senior stylists, Kevin, introduced himself and spent about 5 minutes just talking about what I was looking for and what options I had. He was not just professional and skilled, but a good conversationalist as well. also, although I wasn't pressured or even asked about it, I picked up some new product for my hair. the total visit (senior stylist + product + tip) cost about $45. I left quite pleased with my cut as well as the level and quality of service I received.

I have spent so much money on my hair in the past and had to downsize - I found this studio (recommended from a friend) and realized how much money I have thrown away needlessly! This is the best value - Very talented people here and not the big sticker shock. I'm still waiting for the catch - seems too good to be true! I get a partial highlight and cut for $115 - Unheard of in Atlanta!
Pros: cool atmosphere, Friendly, easy hours
Cons: tight space, nothing , nothing
