SIMPLY THE BEST

Amazing little deli with fresh seafood. We live 2 hours away and will drive into town to buy our seafood from this shop. Every large party or gathering our guests rave at the taste of the food. I Believe me simply unbelievable! This place is a must try, but watch out you will get hooked!

Best Sandwich in Town

This deli has the best sandwich in town - the Cubano. I've eaten every cuban sandwich you can find, including at the Havana Sandwich Shop, and the Cuban at The New Yorker Deli is not only the best Cuban in town, but the best sandwich in town. The pork is marinated in something so that it is juicy and ridiculously flavorful. In addition to the mustard, there's some other sauce that they put on the sandwich that makes it even richer and more delicious. I've literally had this sandwich 50 times, and every time it is perfectly the same. My mouth is writing just writing this.

• Pros: The sanwiches cannot be beat
• Cons: Seating is limited, but you can usually find somewhere to sit

The New Yorker Marketplace and Delicatessen is the best way to visit the streets of Manhattan without being there! The sandwiches are fresh, wel prepared and plentiful. Take the time to look the menu over and get one of the specials. With some Zapps Chips and a Creme Soda a half sandwich is a GREAT LUNCH.... MY FAVORITE DELI SANDWICH SHOP. The New Yorker Marketplace and Delicatessen is a GREAT find.

I've been going to this place every time I'm in the area for years and it is great every single time. Great service, fast, delicious, cheap, and it fills you up. Great soda selection and just great great great. Can't say enough about it.

i discovered this place when i lived near it and ate lunch there every day nearly for months. i still like to go once or twice a week now that i live farther away. every sandwich i try is delicious!!

SOOOO Yummy!

After numerous recommendations from my NYC friends, I finally visited this deli. The sandwhiches were amazing...completely exceeding my expectations. This is the perfect casual, laid back sandwhich shop that you always wanted in your neighborhood. Definitely check it out!

Lively deli brings top sandwiches and a dose of NYC moxie to Buckhead.

The Scene
This bright, lively deli features an appealing display case, Big Apple memorabilia and a small seating area. During the busy lunch hour, it's a hotbed of New York transplants and Buckhead locals. Service in this mom-and-pop shop is fast, personal and extremely friendly.

The Food
This modern deli builds large, well-prepared sandwiches from high quality ingredients. You won't find a dud among the 38-odd offerings, all of which are flat-grilled to order. Top marks go to the Turkey Rachel (thousand island dressing, red cabbage slaw), the East Coast Roast (lots of roast beef, horseradish mayo) and Mom's Fried Bologna. Zapps chips and a decent assortment of specialty soft drinks are also available. Though its known mainly as a lunch shop, look for a handsome selection of salads, prepared foods and high-end butcher selections that could be just the thing for your next cocktail party or impromptu picnic.

This place is turning me into a Yankee!

Do Chris and Carolyn ever take a vacation? Best prime cuts in town. Quick turnaround on telephone orders. Honest, practical answers to novice (asinine) questions re anything related to food and catering a party. Staff is unsung but diamonds in the rough. With them, C&C can take a couple of days off. Entrepreneurs who work hard and have customer service foremost in their minds. Obviously Yankee fans, but they don't rub it in.

Don't Miss It!

My husband and I eat lunch here every Saturday. Sometimes we eat breakfast too. Take away is also very good - we get their wonderful fresh fish for dinner often. Don't miss it!
