Great Thai Food in Atlanta
by BelAnn at Citysearch
Best Thai food I have found in Atlanta. I will give this 5 stars because the food is so great. For the last year or so, they have not have very friendly staff.
- Pros: Love the food! Nice atmosphere.
- Cons: Wait staff could be more friendly.
Best Thai Food in Atlanta

My husband and I have been big fans of Annie's for over 5 years. The flavored whole fish and rama pork are our favorite entrees. Basil rolls and chicken coconut soup are always a must. Currant Affair is my favorite cocktail. Definitely worth the drive in town.
Disappointed

I've always heard about Annie's Thai castle and My husband finally took me there for my birthday! Our waitress was terrible though. She was extremely rude. The food was excellent, but we will never go back. The waitress seemed to be in a hurry so she was short when we asked some questions about the menu. She didn't offer any appetizers, nor desserts!!! She brought us the ticket before we had finished our meal! We felt so unwelcome!
Always a Favorite!

My family and I have been eating at Annie's Thai Castle for the past several years and it's always been our favorite! The atmosphere is great - perfect for good conversation and a family atmosphere! The menu has a lot of variety -I love the Thai Basil rolls, chicken larb and seafood in a clay pot! The service has always been great here as well, so I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food!
Dependable Thai standards bring loyal customers back to this lively restaurant in the heart of Buckhead.

The Scene
Families, dating couples and the business crowd keep Buckhead's favorite Thai restaurant jumping at lunch and dinner. Though it can be loud, the room appeals with its dark, well-appointed coziness. Smoke from the bar wafts throughout the restaurant, giving it a tavern-like ambience.
The Food
Come here for traditional Thai dishes, like the chicken larb appetizer. The dish's gently minced chicken, tossed in lime juice, onions and spices, holds a sneaky, addictive and slowly building fire; timid palates beware. Spicy mixed seafood--a plateful of fresh fish, mussels, shrimp, scallops and tender squid in a chili-based red sauce--packs slightly less heat. Beef with ginger provides a cooling change of pace, with its intense, fresh ginger and sweet slivers of onion. More creative menu items disappoint, like strange, cloying spring rolls with cream cheese filling and sweet, smothering peanut sauce.
Annies Road to Self Destruction
by critiquethecuisine at Citysearch
Annies has been pretty decent over the years. However, a recent visit truly displayed their true colors. The owner apparently had a nervous breakdown she came out and started yelling at us for not ordering enough dishes! We had a group of six people, of which only 4 of us were eating. The restaurant was practically empty (about 10 people) but according to the owner we had taken up too much space in the restaurant and not ordered enough dishes?? My group and I were in total shock. Not anymore, we have seen a significant deterioration in the quality and service. Not to mention the psychotic owner who has absolutely no sense of customer service or any professional etiquette. As Thai food lovers we have already found a better place for your favorite Thai dishes--Tamarinds on 14th street, will blow the socks of Annies.
- Cons: Terrible service, not always fresh, dispicable owner
