Nice Place to Eat
by Steph1967l
Fantastic dinning experience with outstanding service, and exceptional Chinese food. Hosted our wedding reception, and attended to every detail without exception. The party was enjoyed and praised by all attending.
One person commented that they had attended many wedding receptions, some cosing hundreds of thousands of dollars that did not compare to this experience.
Wonderful Service

Time and time again, the place to go for great Chinese Food and Wonderful Service is here. Almost all of the selections on the menu are great...you can't go wrong even if you want to try something new. While some places maybe new and more fashionable, this restaurant has been here through it all.
The servers and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Don't be fooled by the low profile and unassuming exterior however. Inside, you'll find a great experience that has kept me coming back for years.
Pros: Low Wait Time, Great Food, Very Large Menu

I think the food is delicious
by DaveKee
I think the food is delicious, massive and reasonable. Also the atmosphere is quite, peaceful and truly reflects the owners personality.
A wonderful place for meeting friends or that someone special.
Best of all, you can't beat the location.
The owner is beautiful and gracious.
Grand China is as good as you will get
by paula213
That last review is BS, Grand China is the best chinese restaurant so far in Atlanta surprisingly, Atlanta really should have more "real chinese" restausrants to choose from and I have tried a few.
Compare to the best chinese in NY, Grand China is as good as you will get.
Thanks a lot to the misleading reviews

I would never eat there again because of this horrible experience as far as food goes, service was good. Food was horrible I spent over a 100.00's thinking from the reviews would get good recommendation well no!!! I will not ever eat downtown Atlanta again people only rave about the food because this is what there use to garbage!!! The hot and sour soup was more sour than sweet, egg drop soup bland! Entrees like peppered shrimp bland, the Thai curry salty, and the basil shrimp even more salty. Unbelievable how this place could servive! Don't let the pictures fool you on the web page, furniture setting very out dated smells like old furniture locked in storage forever. I would not recommend this place if your a person who likes food or has a taste bud. Never again SMH! I like to pay good money to eat.
Really good food and super hospitality

After reading nothing but good reviews I decided to visit on My Journey to the NCAA South Regional's (go CATS). The food was excellent from the Hot and Soup, egg rolls and steamed dumplings everything was fantastic and fresh. Even the Tea was above expectations. The entry we ordered were the General Tao's chicken and The sweet and sour chicken. After talking to the proprietress she said the items were too similar and changed our order from sweet and sour chicken to some kind of Garlic shrimp and green beans. When the food arrived she was absolutely correct and the combination was excellent. The price was below what I expected and 1/2 as much as my other ATL meals. Do yourself a favor as this place is a must if you are in Buckhead and crave some Chinese or Thai. Besides that they are good people.
