My favorite Italian place
by mt123
Went there last night with Valentines Day reservations - despite an unbelievable crowd, we were seated rather quickly at an awesome table. Our waiter, Marcus, was great, attentive and relaxed as always despite the busy night. We were pleasantly surprised that the prix fixe menu had so many courses and prime selections. Favorite part was the salmon entre which was huge, and the best tasting salmon I have had. We'll definitely go back.
- Pros: Very diverse menu - even if you are not totally in mood for Italian, will be something to please such as seafood or steak. Can bring your own special bottle of wine for minor corkage fee.
wonderful italian food -- just ignore the snooty hostess
by lautumnh
Even with a reservation, there's often a short wait to be seated. Nice bar and old-time, diner-like atmosphere. The food is consistently good. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a little loud and the atmosphere doesn't lend itself to a romantic dinner, so my husband and I like to go here with friends. We had the price fixed menu the other night. $39 for 3 courses, including wine -- great value and delicious as always. If you order wine by the glass, they serve it in a small carafe, which I like.
- Pros: consistent, delicious
- Cons: wait even with reservation, snooty hostess
No place for a special occassion unless you eat there often.

Pricci's kept us waiting for 45 minutes with a reservation for a special occassion and then tried to seat us in the bar. I asked to speak with the manager who was indifferent.
While the food was good, it hardly qualified as a fine dining experience as the price would indicate.
Just had one of the best meals of my life. Kobi Beef ravioli, great caesar salad and all the other meals in our foursome were outstanding (e.g., the wild mushroom pizza). Service was delightful.

Just had one of the best meals of my life - Kobi Beef ravioli, started with simple, yet tasty caesar salad - just happened to luck out by staying at the hotel across the street - and all the other meals in our foursome were outstanding (wild mushroom pizza, with fontina cheese and carmelized onions (fantastic), artichoke and spinach tortellini, and a mushroom risotto). Each of the meals had simple, yet unique tastes and textures (tried them all). Service was delightful. Wait staff could not have been more accommodating. Very reasonably priced. Makes me wish I lived in Atlanta. I have never written a review of a restaurant before.
I will be back

I've been to almost all of the Buckhead Life restaurants (Kyma, Nava, ATL Fish Market, Bluepointe, Buckhead Diner, Veni Vidi Vici) and, upon finishing my meal, I could never understand what all the fuss is about with these restaurants. I was never impressed by the food or the service. Pricci changed that for me. I went there for lunch and maybe that's the difference because I had been to all the others during dinner. The server was excellent. The food - amazing. I ordered the yellow fin tuna carpaccio which melted in my mouth and the gnocci which were to die for. I plan to go there for dinner for my birthday and I hope that the dinner can live up to the amazing lunch that I had at Pricci.
- Pros: Food
- Cons: none
Had a lunch

Had a lunch there. Good interior and service was prompt. Tuna was good. Their noodle was unique.
Price was just right. Coffee can be better.
- Pros: good ambience
Overall a wonderfull Restaurant

I have been to all of the Buckhead Life restaurants and Pricci is by far one of the best. I agree that some of them are not all they are cracked up to be, but Pricci rocks. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. The food is wonderful from the bread and dipping sauce for it all the way to the desserts. The Boston Sole fish that is parmesean crusted is amazing, one of the best dishes I have ever had at a restaurant period. Great place for a special occasion, and they have a great wine list for every price range. I will definatley return.
- Pros: Great food, great wines
- Cons: Can get really crowded, reservations a must, it is a little loud in the front room, sit in back if you want a more intimate experience
problem may be corporate

The BHL restaurants are not all they are cracked up to be. I agree with some of the negative postings about them. I think that the service is really lacking.
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything
Best Food Anywhere
by emcmilion
I took a group of customers to Pricci's in December 2006 and loved it so much, I returned with my husband for our anniversary in October 2007. Everyone agreed it was the best food. Service is fantastic, wine selection was delightful and I'm still craving the food. I will use whatever excuse I can to return to Atlanta just to dine at this restaurant.
- Pros: Food, Service, contemporary atmosphere
They'll 2nd/3rd shelf liquor you on 1st-shelf drink orders
by techne
My first drink order, a Grey Goose and soda, was not honored by wait servers (medicinal tasting vodka + soda instead). Tanqueray choice was honored for my second drink, but not on the second round (it was snake-bite gin). I strongly counsel you to return drinks the first round if they're playing you.
The cod was unevenly cooked. Espresso was not worthy of Starbucks (maybe Nestle instant? Not even Illy, unless they made coffee two days ago and warmed it up in a microwave). Went to use the restroom and urine was steaming in the toilet it was so cold!
- Pros: Glitz
- Cons: Glitz
