An International Vision
As Atlanta's only museum with an exclusively international focus, the museum aims to promote cultural understanding through exhibitions and educational programs. The aim is to provide a sanctuary for the world's cultural richness and act as a source of minority pride. Named as an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute, the museum also benefits from the collections of five Smithsonian museums.

What's There
In just 10 years of operation, it has presented over 25 international exhibitions, from an exhibition on Thai elephant art to an international children's art exhibit. Gallery tours are offered during public hours to groups as are lectures related to current exhibits. Don't forget to take a piece of culture with you and stop at the gift shop, carrying an intriguing assortment of wares from around the world.
