OUTSTANDING!
by lissyd at Citysearch
You know how it is... in town for a conference, bored beyond tears, ate too much, know you need to shake and rattle before you get some more rolls...
And then, somebody suggests a workout.
I am soooooo glad they suggested Peachtree Center Athletic Club! This is one of the friendliest, cleanest clubs I've ever seen. They had everything I could have asked for. Great classes, knowledgable staff, excited members, classy environment, and everything I needed in a locker room, including steam and sauna. You can believe that I knew I was "home" when I discovered the Spa. Tremendous technique for my tired body.
I was sad to leave, but I'll be back on my next visit to Atlanta. This club is the BOMB and all the staff are STARS!
- Pros: Should I name names? The club is beautiful, but the people are the BEST!
- Cons: I was only in Atlanta for a few days **sniff**
I lost 5 yes five dress sizes at PCAC
by missv1 at Citysearch
I lost the sizes and I am not looking to get them back! I LOVE PCAC for so many reasons! To begin I love the staff and instructors. The Management and staff show genuine care and concern for me. Loosing over 70lbs was not easy but I always received help, and encouragement from everyone. Kind words goes so far!! I never feel embarrassed if I can't do something, and always recv. the proper help and variations needed. Most importantly being a germophobic, The facility is ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN!
- Pros: ecourgement, cleansiness, easy to get to
- Cons: no wirlpool
It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This!

I came as a visitor and stayed for the cleanest, most professional health club I've ever visited. Missed my personal trainer, but worked with an amazing "specialist". She probably knew more than half the trainers I've paid to work with. She was great -- for FREE! Had more fun with salsa than humans can imagine, and a massage, too. Like I said, it doesn't get any better than this!
- Pros: location and hours, knowledgable staff, beautiful club
- Cons: limited cafe hours
You Had To Be There!
by fitwoman at Citysearch
I've probably worked out at most of the fitness centers -- including the Y's and college facilities -- in this country. I've seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and Peachtree Center Athletic Club is about as close to "Fitness Heaven" as I ever expect to get.
The beautiful facility is just the beginning. On my last visits, I took advantage of OMPLIMENTARY personal training sessions and LOVED them. I worked with some very impressive Fitness Specialists, who didn't hesitate to get me where I needed to be. If you don't get help at this club, it's because you didn't ask for it.
I don't know what mahreanne25 said or did to get treated badly, but it's never happened to me on any of my many visits to the club. mahreanne25, I have one word for you, "HATER"! For everybody else, this is THE place to go!
- Pros: Staff, Classes, Lots of Equipment
- Cons: temperature, cafe hours too short
