Definitely not worth it

This is the second time that I've been and I get more and more disappointed every time I go. I ended up going with some family in town but could've just saved the money.
Worth the money

This tour was interesting and informative. Great look at CNN around the world and you really do get to look behind the scenes. My husband and I enjoyed getting to see the news be filmed and broadcast live while we watched from above. The building is fun to look at even if you don't pay to take the tour. We thought it was very worth the money. Young kids might not find it interesting and might be bored on the tour. We would recommend it to people visiting Atlanta. There is a food-cort in the building too if you want to grab lunch while you are there. They seemed to have a lot of food options.
- Pros: informative
- Cons: no photography on the tour
Not worth the money
by lilyprof at Citysearch
This tour would be good for children, and might be worth 50 minutes of an adult's time if it were free, but $10 is a huge waste of money. The one interesting thing is being able to stand behing a glass looking down at the newsroom, including watching the anchor reporting. There is no serious attempt to discuss the news process - e.g., the word "reporter" doesn't come up once! From the guide, there was a lot of repetition, and discussion of fascinating, important facts like how much the anchors are paid, and whether or not they buy their own clothes (they do).
- Cons: Expensive, Disappointing, Not educational
Go behind the scenes at the world headquarters of one of the most-watched news channels.

In Short
A 50-minute studio tour takes you into the guts of the CNN operation and some of its networks, including Headline News. You'll pass through glass-enclosed overhead walkways, a simulated control room and ride one tall escalator. Along the way, you'll observe the newsroom in action, learn the secrets of the teleprompter and listen to a shameless self-promotion from Ted Turner himself (on television, of course).
Flexo

Could be better I must say, it's all done with the way of "we are the best" and cause I'm Dutch [from the Neterlands that is], I will say what is the best, it's just big, not better then other studio's
- Pros: gift shop, braves store
- Cons: see us, being great, crowded
