Excellent service!!!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary this past weekend. This was my first time staying at the Ritz Carlton and I just have to say that the service, from the front desk to the vallet, was the best I have experienced. We ordered breakfast via room service and the food was great! The room was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. I highly recommend this hotel!
- Pros: service, food, atmosphere
- Cons: none
no doubt, they are the best

We had a room facing a white wall, but who cares? When you stay here, the staff takes better care of you than your mom (sorry, mom). I didn't know how to tie a bowtie, one of the staff found a tie store next door to do it for me - he walked me there and back -cool!
- Pros: fantastic service
- Cons: room view

Best Downtown Hotel
by eddie_feek_tata_leek at Citysearch
Great location, great service, all around great package! Keep in mind that you are right downtown and there is plenty of "hustle and bustle" but it is the best place available in that area!! If you want peace and quiet, try Lake Oconee. Fantastic dining experience at the grill!! If you do not get what you want from this hotel, it is only because you did not let anybody know that you wanted it!!!! Every request was granted in a VERY timely fashion. Go and feel confident you will enjoy!
- Pros: great package rate, very convenient location, great food in the grill!
- Cons: none
Downtown palace where the famous people stay.

The Scene
The 25-story high-rise is set deep in downtown Atlanta. It was the neighborhood's first luxury hotel, and it's still the best. You'll find exquisite details inside--valuable oil paintings, ornate chandeliers and Persian rugs. If you're here for a nearby business meeting or to see the downtown attractions and sports venues, it's a great location. Downtown Atlanta is primarily a business destination, however, so head north to Midtown or Buckhead for fun once the sun sets.
The Details
Marble bathtubs, down pillows, terry robes, cordless phones--what else do you need? Perhaps a butler-drawn bath? The hotel offers five of them on its bath menu. The menu features aromatherapy, bath oils, mood music and decadent edibles. It's the Ritz, so expect a full valet staff, language-translation services, golf and tennis opportunities, on-call notary, technology butler and four types of massages.
This is a Ritz?

Three night stay was a nightmare. First of all, the hotel and rooms were just slightly better than average--nothing to crow about. The service was average at best....other than addressing you by name every time you call the front desk or room service, they aren't doing anything extra that would justify their 5-star rating. I had to struggle to get my suitcase into the front door and down the stairs (stairs!) to the lobby. No one ever offered help nor offered to take my bag to the room. We were bothered by noise the entire time we were there. You can hear every door slamming out in the hallway, and we had a group of women in the room next door that kept us up at all hours--the walls were so thin we could hear EVERY word they were saying! A total disappointment.
- Pros: central location, bedding, clean
- Cons: expensive, poor service, noise problems
Putting on the Ritz
by greenfash at Citysearch
I always wanted to stay at the Ritz Carlton, Since I Normally prefer staying at the Westin PeachTree Street. the service here was super great. the room was small, to sum it up great hotel and super service. my room was clean twice a day and my bed was undone in the evenings. I felt like a king.
but I must say it still not the Westin with their Heavenly Bed.
- Pros: service, location, service
- Cons: room size, price, very small gym
