unprofessional customer service
by reviewtruereview
Six Flags has the most rude, unprofessional customer service I have ever encountered. I contacted the risk management department regarding an incident that took place at Six Flags and was treated with the most blatant disrespect .
- Pros: none
- Cons: rude, unprofessional customer service
UNSAFE!!!! parking lot
by seeeya203
We came to fright fest with our kids hoping to have a great Halloween. 90% of the employees we encountered were friendly, helpful, and very polite. When we left to go home we found our car had been broken into...which security informed us was a common occurrence in the parking lot.
After paying 15.00 to park, and seeing 10 cops/security guards standing around talking to each other and doing nothing at the gates exiting the park? But they know car theft/damage is a recurring problem? No wonder all the criminals have such an easy time stealing from visitors. Don"t waste your money just to get robbed!!!!
- Pros: the upside: Most of the employees were very friendly
- Cons: Too many rude teens/criminals running loose w/o supervision
Save Your Money For A Better Family Outing

I noticed that several good reviews seemed to have magically appeared that are completely adverse to the first. Oh there have been changes, but for the worse. The prices have gone up drastically. I remember paying $20 to get in. I understand that with an increase in minimum wage, fuel costs, consumer confidence down and an overall depressed economy, that people are less likely to have disposable income.
So why so expensive for such a lousy visit? $45 per adult on premises/ $30 online (for now). Wow. I have been to prohibitively expensive theme parks all over this country. Some of them you walk away from saying, "That was pricey" but you've had a memorable time. Six Flags over GA IS NOT in that category. You have buyers remorse about a half hour (or less) into the visit.
As for the staff being terrible, that's because the company will only pay sixteen year olds minimum wage so... that's what you get. Its a fast food level of customer service with rides.
And for whomever is writing these positive reviews (one right after the other), glad you had such a great time.
- Pros: Its in town.
- Cons: Staff, staff, lines, staff, cleanliness, overall quality of visit
Worst customer service, terrible food, not enough bathrooms, mediocre coasters

Staff was blatantly careless, indifferent, and at times flat out rude. $40 Admission was extremely overpriced relative to the quality and quantity of rides offered. I grew up 30 minutes from Cedar Point so I have high amusement park standards....but this was just pathetic. "Superman" was decent, but was extremely short. Batman was out of service. Food selections were limited to pulled pork, hamburgers, chicken fingers and pizza. Pizza was an even worse version of Papa Johns and they charged $25 for a whole pizza. They nickel and dimed us the whole day, forcing us to rent lockers for my GF's purse before boarding Goliath, $15 parking, $5 beverages. Above all, beyond the poor food, poor facilities, poor ride quality and poor ride selection, the unbelievably rude employees took the cake. I arrived at 6 flags excited and in a great mood. I left 6 flags wanting to go postal. And broke.
- Pros: none
- Cons: expensive food, poor quality food, poor scenery, poor ride selection, awful service
security is a joke
by bamamom
Rude terrible employees, Nasty food. One of the children in our church group was attacked by an adult verbally and was threatened (profanely) right in front of security and nothing was done. It wasnt crowded and it was a friday so that at least was a positive.
Great family fun!

I have having fun here for 30 years. This place is great. The rides are awesome. The lines can be long however with the rapid/smart pass you bypass all of the waiting. I will continue to take my kids here for years.
Good rides, but it got much more expensive all of a sudden!

What happened this year (2007)? I like Six Flags - I buy a season's pass every year or two, but even the early-season price went up $20 this year! $15/day for parking? Too rich for me - I'll have to look for cheaper entertainment options elsewhere.
The whole point of the season's pass was to be able to drop by for a few hours in the evening to avoid the crowds and heat. Maybe others can afford these prices to ride a handful of rides per visit - but I can't.
It's a shame - the rides are great.
Good Entertainment

The rides were fun. The park was a bit hilly for families with small children. Food at Ms. Dixies was deplorable.
- Pros: Rides
- Cons: Staff, Layout, Food
High Dollar
by carmacv
I know the real estate in Atlanta is expensive, but $15 to park in the parking lot, $49 to get in the park, $8 for a drink, not to mention if you want to ride anything, Flash pass $35 first person. This park would be nice if the prices were more family oriented. Not to mention the extras that cost.
Big Money
The place for breathtaking, lunch-losing thrill rides.

The Scene
The big daddy is the Georgia Scorcher, one of the Southeast's tallest and fastest stand-up roller coasters. About a dozen others tempt thrill seekers like Deja Vu, a boomerang roller coaster and Acrophobia, a 200-foot rotating tower-drop ride. But the biggest attraction is Superman, the South's only coaster in which riders are suspended in a flying position. Also check out Viper's 360-degree loop, the Ninja's corkscrews, Mindbender's triple loop, the Freefall's 10-story drop and the Great Gasp's 20-story drop.
The Draw
There are plenty of tamer rides and other things to do. See that silly wabbit in Bugs Bunny Land, get spooked at Monster Plantation, swing in a cable car or take a breather while you watch a musical stage show. By the end of the day, you'll be exhausted, wet from the splash of the Log Flume and sticky from sno-cones and cotton candy.
