Deadly staph infections
by DavidYapko at Citysearch
Check staph infection rates at hospitals before having your surgery done. They do happen at fine hospitals.
Utter Disappointment for a Wellstar Hosital
by kethree710 at Citysearch
In their defense, due to the weather conditions, there were several traumas that neede to be attended to before they could see regular patientsa, and this we were made well aware of and kept abreast of. However, I waiting over three hours simply to be put in a room. The nurse who put me in my room was totally rude. I waited another hour to see the doctor for the first time. The doctor and one of the nurses I saw were the only staff members I came into contact with that could pass for decent human beings. My clothing was thrown around blatently to make way for a cart, instead of politely moved or asked to be moved. I was forgotten about for over an hour and a half needlessly. I would avoid this facility if you feel like you should be treated with respect as a pateient. The care I received, although it took way too long, was up to par, though I feel a few more tests could have been run.
- Pros: nice ER facility
- Cons: exceptionally rude nursing staff
Pleasant employees, some billing difficulties
by christmasjoy2003 at Citysearch
I was at Paulding Hospital recently for a mammogram. They have the new digital equipment installed there
now. Everyone that I encountered at this facility was very pleasant. My only complaint is that I was billed incorrectly, and when I called about it, the person was not exceptionally friendly, and it took writing a letter of complaint to get the billing error corrected. On the up side.... once they recieved the letter of complaint, they rectified the situation. I reccommend this facility, but advise anyone if they are offered a "special price" for early payment, that they should make sure they make note of the person's name that takes their payment in the event of a billing error.
- Pros: Parking, pleasant staff, new mammogram equipment
- Cons: billing staff rudeness and ineffectual staff in billing department
Wise to Avoid
by clakson at Citysearch
Our family rates this facility a 'zero,' with a suggestion to avoid. The facility is run-down, out-dated, and severely depressing. The care we received was unacceptable and disappointing.
- Pros: NONE, NONE, NONE
- Cons: RUN-DOWN FACILTY, UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE, DEPRESSING
