Decent Try
by nynynyny at Citysearch
It is practically impossible to get "real" Italian in the south but Provino's is not bad. The salad is fresh and the garlic rolls were delicious. The service was excellent! The server we had was probably one of the best I've ever seen, especially when it came to multi-tasking. I would return because it is one of the better Italian restaurant experiences that I've had in the Atlanta area.
- Pros: Service, Great bread and salad, Decent food
- Cons: Dumb Southerners

I took my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. We had had a very stressful day and were worried that the night might be ruined. Oh contraire! We ended up having a most romantic dinner. Our server put us at ease as soon as we were seated. The food was delicious. Their rolls should be illegal. This is a great date place.
- Pros: Friendly service. Great value. The Rolls & Salad.
- Cons: Need one a little closer to my house.
ADDICTED!

Yeah I have tried Olive Garden and if I had to use that experience as my introduction to Italian food I would just stay home but...I tried Provino's at the insistance of my Italian wife and I am now ADDICTED! We have gone to other Italian restaurants but Provino's is by far the best when it comes to good eating for the buck. There is always a wait to be seated but if you can be patient, your wait will have been worth it. Service has always been excellent and if we do have a complaint the issue is ALWAYS addressed immediately by staff or management. Oh yeah...birthday dinners are FREE! Woo hoo! If you want a "romantic" dinner ask for the private booths. NICE! The atmosphere is the best I have experienced in ANY of the local Atlanta area Italian restaurants. If you are on a low cal, low fat, no wheat "I can't eat this or that" diet then don't go in Provino's. If you want to be totally satisfied when you walk out the door when you're finished...visit one of the many Provino's. I see there is a new one up in Forsyth county now so when I visit friends up that way I can drag 'em out to fine Italian dining. You can see all the locations on the web site at provinos dot com
- Pros: Rolls, salad, FOOD, service

I've been eating here since I was a little kid and nothing has changed. And that's a good thing. If you want to feel at home and get your moneys worth, then eat here. Best Italian south of "The Soprano's".
- Pros: friendly, Huge portions, romantic
- Cons: stuffy waiting area, no reservations

Has many varied dishes, great garlic bread ball serves with salad and when taking children provides all selections but in childs servings not just the usual spaghetti, ravioli, and lasagna for the kids.
- Pros: great menu, bread balls, nice atmosphere
- Cons: limited parking, limited waiting area
